True. 😪

You didn't reply btwwww. Is Ruby friends with the strange cult people?.. 😮
She’s not friends with them, she just follows them (they have a lot of followers, like I think they still have over 2M subscribers on yt) and honestly I think she just hasn’t paid attention or she’d probably unfollow. They’re targeting moms primarily. They talk about ”Truth” and ”distortion” and I’m fairly sure our precious little Rootabaga would qualify as living in distortion, too, what with the coffee-drinking and Christmas-loving.

But cults are after the rich and famous (or at least popular enough).
So thats why they are interested in her.
But with her parents permanently around i suppose she's safe.

But it's still awful cause with the algorithm all her followers are gonna get these people in their recommendations........

Why does she even follow them.
Probably to get more followers. Thats so irresponsible.

Anyway thanks for the explanation.....

An empty gap year could be bliss. I was struggling really hard towards the end of my degree, I barely made it through the exams and the thought of moving on with life was enough to make me crumble. I was also lucky to have a supportive family, they didn't mind I was literally in bed from sun up until midnight when I went to sleep again. Barely existing was what I needed and it helped me, I wouldn't care if someone wanted to be a complete potato after a rough time, especially if they can afford it. Ruby is just so adamant on coming off as the structured queen that she isn't, she's turning this year into a creative marathon when it's just a buffer area to postpone adulthood even more. I wonder what goes through her mind, she's always acting and pretending, not a bone in her body feels genuine in anything she does.
I feel like although she has the financial support to spare sometime to think about her next move in life, she is unable to do that because of the content pressure. She has to move on to the next thing right away (booktube vids, tiktok account, writing a book) because she has to have a steady supply of content.

Ruby is very naive, though. She doesn't seem to question what she learns or what she hears from other people (unless it's her exam results lol). A lot of her charity-sponsored social justice type posts fail because she reposts whatever sounds good or popular, but doesn't think about it in any detail. In fairness, a lot of influencers are like that.

I don't think she's about to join a cult btw. 😂 Just saying that she's naive and doesn't check her facts.

Yeah there's tons of influencers who advertise harmful tit.

I know Ruby is naive, but she always gets tons of comments warning her everyyy time she's advertising a scam.

You'd think after all thissss timeee she'd have learnt to be careful for her fans' sake.
I think she just doesn't care........

Or maybe she really doesn't read her comments, but i doubt it.

I watched Jack Edwards' latest lie-filled, Ruby-esque 'I pretended to read 7 books in 7 days' video and this unintentional bit of Ruby shade stood out:

Jack: "I don't really love reading books about bullying or about being a teenager. When you're in your early twenties you don't really want to read about being a teenager. I also thought the characters in this book were too mature for their age and too precocious to be believable."

Thankyou! I remembered seeing that but couldn't for the life of me remember what video or post it was from.

Jack's future review of Lottie Parton and the Misplaced Child:

"Lottie Parton? Parton my French*, but I loved this book a Lottie.

An utterly harrowing and awe-inspiring tale of triumph over adversity. This book made me believe again that things might finally work out for a rich, white person from a privileged Tory upbringing.

I've never had any interaction with Ruby Granger and we definitely don't share the same management team, but this Ruby is a true gem.

The police need to arrest Ruby Granger for theft, because her writing stole my heart and took my breath away.

Reading this book was like rediscovering language for the first time.

6/5 stars.

*Have I told you 16 times in the past 3 minutes that I live in France?"

For the amount of editing Roodawakening is supposedly doing, we're getting remarkably few videos. Her Italy vlog is like a month late at this point. Although knowing her, it's not so much an issue of editing (we all know she does very little of that) as waiting for sponsors to approve the videos.

@gossip_guy write your own book, whatever it‘s about i will buy it
Erimentha Parker retold from the perspective of downtrodden sibling Nathan Parker. A 1600 page opus. 300 pages of parental neglect and familial resentment followed by 1300 pages about the complexities of child emancipation paperwork.

She's not editing she's ADDITING... by which she actually means seeing how many undeclared ADS she can sneak into a video. Hard work indeed.

i have a question for ppl who follow her regularly... Does she really live in a house full of buugs crawling all over her in Peace & Love... Harmoniouuuslyy?

I thought it was a joke.
i don't follow her much at all, but like everytime i do she has a buddy corpse of a houseflyy, and the other time she had her bff giant moth sharing her bed.

So I'm wondering now.
But maybe it's normal when you live in the coutryside, i don't know. So yeah no offenseeeee.

what is she trying to say?
"Who doesn't like tea, after all?"

It's the caption to a TikTok video about having a tea party with the unpaid employee friend who did the doodles for her latest disaster planner.

Like making this poor unsuspecting person enter the lung-withering manor of dust and disease that Ruby calls home isn't bad enough, Ruby then serves her "friend" the world's saddest picnic on a blight-covered surfboard of squalor. Zero chance that thing was cleaned before slapping this "food" directly onto it.
