To be honest she looks more her age here than on any other picture... Not glorious but more realistic than the frail kid.
in her drop out video she said she was supposed to go to france to work but COVID happened so she changed plans and went to Uni instead to study a degree she thought she might "tolerate", (until she dropped out a few months ago realising she didn't like it)
idk what she's been up to recently but if she was moving to france to work after her a-levels...does that mean she wanted to become like an au pair or something like that? because i'm unaware (correct me if i'm wrong) that martha speaks any french
I spent like an hour trying to find the vlog where she talked about not needing to go to therapy anymore, but I also can't remember which one it was. (But I remember being annoyed by her sentiments about therapy at the time). Maybe it's one that she ended up deleting? But she does talk about her experience with therapy in a May 2020 video titled "an honest mental health update" or something to that effect. If she thought that therapy was at least sort of helpful and she wanted to prioritize her mental health, (as mentioned in her "I plan every minute of my life" video in Feb 2020) them why did she stop going? It's so obvious that staying home at the start of the pandemic caused her mental and physical health to take a complete nose dive, so why didn't she try to restart therapy at any point in the last two years? I don't believe she has gotten any mental health help since the start of the pandemic, which is a shame. In an effort to try to find that clip, I re-watched little bits of some of her old videos. She has always had her issues, but at least pre-pandemic she was more tolerable. She looked and acted a lot happier, she was healthier, and while she has always been a proponent of doing mindless busy work, at least she could string together a semi-coherent sentence back then. It really is a shame that her ED has ruined her life.
That's so weird. It just got me thinking as I haven't seen Martha pop up for a while in Ruby's videos. She never seems to be around or involved when Ruby is at home, and there's no mention of her I don't think. It makes me wonder if Martha is even there?
Don't take my word on this as I'm not sure, but I think a couple of threads ago we established that Marfa stayed in Sheffield (where she went to uni) to live and work after dropping out, so no she isn't at Casa De Bones.
She was in her planning for deadline season video a couple of weeks ago I believe, filming a video in the kitchen. So seems like they're both bleeping around at home filming pointless youtube videos for the foreseeable future
I don't know if it's a thing anymore but she might have been going to work at a ski resort, that seems more like something she would do! It's also the kind of work that would be heavily impacted by the pandemic.

Damn she's really averaged under 22 words per day for the last 365 days
I know with my dissertation we had to start thinking about any potential topics at the very end of our second year so if Ruby had to do the same then technically she has been working on it for around a year, but 'working on it' doesn't necessarily mean writing it and from what we have seen it looks like she has been writing her dissertation for the past 3-4 months at max, not a WHOLE year like she claims. I mean it took her a good six months to choose a damn topic so there is absolutely no way she has been writing it for a year.
I can imagine her feeling 'bullied' by a therapist who calls her out on her behaviors. I've definitely felt attacked by therapists in the past when they've pointed something out. I can't see her being capable of going back to someone who she feels is 'against her'. She sees the world in black and white. You're either obsessed with her, or a hater/bully.
