I hate to say it but most UK universities have fuck all in terms of MH support. I have a sibling at Exeter and their support is almost non-existent, I went to Birmingham and they got rid of their full time paid counsellors yet paid our VC one of the highest salaries in the country, for him doing nothing but sitting around being homophobic.
That's really sad and frustrating. Can't believe they got rid of their full time counsellors. Think I'll have to Google the Birmingham VC because I've heard nothing about him or the homophobia. My sister's uni seemed to offer decent support. It's one of the Scottish ones, so not sure if that makes a difference.

What she means is she has been spending the year adding inspiration to her Notion, notebooks, Pinterest etc etc :D
This is probably true tbh. 😂 Roomba's definitely the type to class her ''Lewis Carroll mood board'' as part of her dissertation work.

That’s it, I’m done with the internet forever never google ”Ruby Granger weight loss” just to see if anyone else is talking about it, nothing good will ensue

I actually googled 'Ruby Granger weight loss' and the first webste was another gossip site called 'Guru Gossiper'. People were already talking about Ruby in 2019 and discussing her obsession with weightloss and calories in June 2021 (and earlier).

Sorry if this sounds 'stalkerish', that's not my intention.. I'm just curious. So I started watching older Ruby videos where she was healthier and happier, and came across 'How I stopped wasting time on social media'. She said she has this other IG account where the username ends in 'na' or 'ha'. Does anyone know what that account is or what the username is?

He is watching us all

Before you get wild notions that Ruberoy has been learning new words in a grown-up book, commonplace books feature heavily in Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events.
Ironically the series she was hating on on Goodreads a few weeks back!

Do you reckon Ruby know that the meaning behind sticking out your pinky while holding a teacup is a courtesy sign you would show so that others at your tea party know that you have syphilis? Is she trying to tell us something?
Actually, that is a myth. Just like it's a myth that sticking up your pinky makes you appear elegant and regal. :)

There is a story with Ruby drinking/chewing more gifted tea and I've had a realisation about her 'chewing.' In wine tasting when they try a wine they 'chew' it and swirl it around the mouth to get more flavour supposedly, I don't know if she is trying to do that when she drinks or it is a weird Ruby-ism.
Or maybe she has read about chewing food ed trick, and doesn't realise that you don't chew drinks as well

how does one hold a pencil and make their hand bleed?? The only way I can think of is intentionally stabbing your self with the tip… 😂
Maybe she held it so tight her nails ended up stabbing her palm?
Either way I guess she's sorted that out now, considering she brags about writing everything by hand

The irony is pretty poetic. Gazing up at a university building with hair that’s too long looking like a deluded child who thought she could get into oxford, stood beyond the limits of the gate because she was never able to get there…quick get security in! Shut those gates and keep her out!!
I usually love long hair but Ruby doesnt suit it at all! She looked so much more like her age and better when she had shorter hair (without the awful fringe/bangs though)!

I was in so much confusion and disbelief over the literal garlic bread that I googled "raw garlic on bread" and lo and behold, there is an actual recipe for this! Apparently the idea is to toast the bread and then rub the raw garlic on the bread so that the taste rubs off. It's also advertised as having "no added fat" so maybe that played a role in Ruby's thought process (?) as well.

To be fair Jamie Oliver does this too I've seen a number of his videos where he suggests rubbing garlic on the bread to give it a garlic taste. Never done it myself but it must work if Jamie Oliver does it!

I love Contrapoints!! She's one of the best YouTubers IMO. How is this relevant to Ruby's degree, though?
Yes! I love her too and I have probably watched each of her videos a hundred times by now.
Apparently, from what I can tell by her notes this is about Butler and gender, probably came up in one of her modules?
