I love Contrapoints!! She's one of the best YouTubers IMO. How is this relevant to Ruby's degree, though?so I just spotted Contrapoints in Rhubarb's study notes and I want to gatekeep so much right now I am shaking.
(then again there is a lot Roobli could learn from Natalie, especially when it comes to content quality)

Yes! I love her too and I have probably watched each of her videos a hundred times by now.I love Contrapoints!! She's one of the best YouTubers IMO. How is this relevant to Ruby's degree, though?
I try not to wish failure on anyone but I really hope she gets a third and realises she's not special
Her video quality has become worse (worse than normal) the closer we're getting to her dissertation being due. I think she's really nervous about it. We'll know she did poor if she doesn't upload an OTT video reacting to her dissertation results. Or she'll make one that's obviously fake to appease her audience. She needs a third to humble her though.I try not to wish failure on anyone but I really hope she gets a third and realises she's not special
Honestly, I'm more interested in her degree results than my own at this point
Could someone please post a screenshot for those of us who don't watch her videos anymore? Thank you! xGosh, her scalp is in full view in the thumbline of her new video and...it looks really bad. I was scrolling my Recommended page and had to do a double take when I passed that. I feel sorry for her, I know hair issues are very hard for women to go through
Ruby: "Thanks syo moch for sharing this!"View attachment 1235669
The irony of this uni lecturer giving advice about answering the question, not giving unwanted opinions and engaging with critics beyond just parroting their views and Rubert replying ‘thanks!’ when we know she’ll 100% be doing those things in her dissertation
Here you go!Could someone please post a screenshot for those of us who don't watch her videos anymore? Thank you! x
She's probably got digital submission, most unis changed to that during covid and haven't changed back. Can't be certain about Exeter, but I know it's true for the majority of unis I've worked with since the pandemic. Why do I get the feeling she’ll run out of time to get the thing finished, bound and handed in? Back when I had to do mine, there was a wait-time on the binding because one little copy shop in the campus was trying to do everyone’s binding all at once. I think I did mine a few days before and there were queues even then. Surely with all those revisions Ruby is doing she’ll leave no time to actually get the thing bound, unless it’s a digital submission?

Thanks, makes sense, I suppose! I’m a dinosaur who submitted mine a few years ago nowAt my uni we submitted our dissertations digitally last year
Yeah like I get that some people are just like that (my boyfriend is a grad student in Mathematics and he always always procrastinates till the last minute to do stuff, I get anxious for his assignments before he does lol)Thanks, makes sense, I suppose! Even so, I have image of her with papers strewn all over her floor hours before the deadline, still crossing words out to get the count downFor someone who makes to-do lists every day and time blocks her day, she’s really not been organised at all with this dissertation. At this stage she should be checking for typos for the last time and submitting it.
I think she secretly is. That’s why she has more than one video about ”how I stopped procrastinating” - because she hasn’t managed to do it.Yeah like I get that some people are just like that (my boyfriend is a grad student in Mathematics and he always always procrastinates till the last minute to do stuff, I get anxious for his assignments before he does lol)
But I really don't think Ruby is one of those people
