There is a story with Ruby drinking/chewing more gifted tea and I've had a realisation about her 'chewing.' In wine tasting when they try a wine they 'chew' it and swirl it around the mouth to get more flavour supposedly, I don't know if she is trying to do that when she drinks or it is a weird Ruby-ism.
Or maybe she has read about chewing food ed trick, and doesn't realise that you don't chew drinks as well

'Completing your references' isn't studying Rubella, it's doing something you should have been doing as you were going along

It does look green though, and there’s something that looks like a powder on the side of the bowl. My guess is it’s some stupid crap like spirulina that she’s mixed in with the oats to make them ”healthier”. Another obvious ED meal with spirulina a.k.a. another bs ”weight loss aid”, half a banana, possibly an entire strawberry, frozen berries, a small spoon (it’s one of those long-handle spoons) to make the portion look bigger, a teaspoon of peanut butter, and of course the very fact that she’s had to include all the things in one tiny portion because she was unable to choose and this is the only way she can pretend she’s not depriving herself.

This for me is one of the biggest red flags with Uni and, I hate to say it, possibly B too and why living together could have been quite detrimental. When I was struggling badly the “lots of little bits” was a huge feature of my eating - a slice of toast with multiple spreads etc… which I think Ruby has done. And food indecision is a classic symptom of malnutrition and restriction.

I feel bad for her that she’s in that place, however I know that she has far more awareness that I did - simply due to her being a public figure and posting her food, people have called her out! So my sympathy on the “ED causes denial” is limited.

Gosh, her scalp is in full view in the thumbline of her new video and...it looks really bad. I was scrolling my Recommended page and had to do a double take when I passed that. I feel sorry for her, I know hair issues are very hard for women to go through

I watched Ruby's recent video and I'm just wondering what she was actually doing with her dissertation and it felt that it was just a lot of busywork. Or she was trying to find a coherent argument in her dissertation that seems to be a mishmash of ideas? I didn't do that much faffing around with mine at the end though I did get my partner and my friend with master's degrees to look over it for me as I'm just very dyslexic but it was ready to go pretty much other than that. Is she going to rewrite it again? I'm thinking that she is floundering a lot now, stretching it out as either the dissertation is a mess or she is stretching out her time as a student for it being her last assignment? I do wonder how close to the deadline Ruby hands in things, I feel she hands things in things last minute, like an hour before it's due (five minutes was my record admittedly!)

Less than 15 seconds in, there's already a #gifted item on display. It is from Etsy, however, so I'm assuming it's a small business that could do with the exposure. Might let this one pass.

The first time I've seen this note onscreen. She must be reading Tattle. I wish she'd take the cake out of its wrapper before plonking it in a bowl of yoghurt, though.

Curious to know which month we'll get to before Ruby finally sheds the red shawl of eternal cold.

''Doing tiny edits on your paper can raise your mark by like 5 points,'' says Ruby. Good luck with that. 😬

Roob tells us she got distracted and went on her phone, but can't be bothered to edit it out is going to leave it in anyway.

That's all I watched of the video before I got distracted and wandered off to get a snack.

I thought the exact same thing. Unfortunately, recommending that people eat well and regularly, then showing another tiny portion of mostly sugar as one of her sporadic meals and never showing anything else only gives impressionable viewers the idea that this is eating well and regularly.

Slapping a lip-service message on-screen does nothing when you're still pushing your dangerously stupid eating habits at every turn, Ruby.

Also, a 5 minute video with multiple ads, both declared and undeclared. What a lazy, greedy little swamp goblin.

Edit: And she's doing some "quick edits", then shows that she's finding this much tit wrong with her entire dissertation:

If you're 7+ drafts in, and it's still this ducked, it's a lost cause, Rubert.

That's true. She's still not setting the best example of normal eating habits and 'actions speak louder than words'.

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but there's something green in that yoghurt. I'm hoping it is just matcha or something pistachio-related, but I'll probably still have nightmares about hidden peas. At least it's not a dead fly.

*Would like to add that my snack wasn't green or oaty. Just wanted to clear that up in case anyone was wondering. 😆

Oh no! How does she even get it that dusty? 😮

I changed my profile pic from the unimpressed plug socket (or whatever it was in Ruby's room) because it was very beige, and it looked as though it was having an existential crisis. I'm now Makka Pakka, who is a much better role model than the Rube. He lives in a humble stone house in a forest (very environmentally friendly, low carbon footprint dwelling). He takes care of his belongings (look how he's cradling his stone). He scrubs everything in his vicinity regularly with a sponge. He is independent. He does a cute dance. He has a lot of leisure time. He doesn't have a big vocabulary or speech that is recognisable to us, but his use of words is consistent.

From what little you can actually read of the text (the bottom corners of the sheets she places on the windowsill), that dissertation is nowhere near done. It’s clear she’s just Frankensteined a bunch of secondary sources together and the stuff that’s not quotes is poorly written. She’s having to write out the ”logical flow” of her paragraphs in a notebook because she herself has difficulty discerning anything like a logical flow but she’s trying to convince herself it’s there.

Yeah if she herself still has to write out the logical progression of her paragraphs on the seventh draft on her thesis, how could somebody else who reads it possibly be able to follow it and get a clear idea of her argument?

"But remember, tiny edits can improve your final grade by up to 5 points!!!" Maybe she should try working out the main point of her dissertation before writing it first. But then again, she did have difficulty even picking a topic, this time last year she was dead set on Victorian girlhood before switching to... Victorian Christmas? And then Emily Dickinson? But also Shakesperean boy actors, right? Yikes.

so her giveaway to thank her fans is her giving away stuff a company has sent her and she hasn't even bought herself to then give away? We love a charitable queen, she's so thoughtful

And for the giveaway section, she claims the giveaway box is full of her favourites, but then mentions that she hasn't even tried one of her "favourites" from "BAHNBLAND". She cranked up the speed like 500x for this bit, as if nobody would notice if she sped past it as fast as possible.

"And thAn this teaaa which is one of my favourites, AND THANN this teaa which is also one of my favourites, AND THANN this teAaa WHICHIHAVEN'TACTUALLYTRIED--"

What a bleeping mess.

I fee like she's 100% overcomplicating the dissertation... an UG dissertation isn't that hard to do well on if you are organised and have a coherent topic / line of argument to your work. I was done with mine over a month before the deadline because once you've written it, there's not really much more you can do other than minor edits and proof reads !
