Far too hot for her English rose complexion. They're all going to Cambodia so Ruby probably refused to go because she'd be too far away from her parents. I also feel like Cambodia might not fulfil her colonial dream of being a Victorian woman.
Oh come on. We all know it’d be the musty tailcoat of doom. The resemblance is uncanny…
I wonder what she’d wear to a gifted showing of Cabaret?

Ruby is one of these people who think that anything rustic = good. These chairs are a total 100% n o.Ruby is giving Holly a run for her money, she's making vegan food look even more unappetizing
Also, on a side note, those rusty old garden chairs look absolutely horrendous. I can't imagine having a glass of wine and relaxing on these chairs but then in Ruby's world everything has to look as bland, unappealing, rotten and uncomfortable as possible!
A decade from now after the hit documentary "World's Worst Youtubers," produced and directed by @gossip_guy, comes out, this will be a priceless collector's item! I hope you bought it now before the price skyrockets.I found a copy of Erimentha Parker out in the wild. Generously priced for 99p in a charity shop.
I can imagine that dish done well as someone said before with really good bread, olive oil, salt and properly rubbed garlic but this is just such a no aha.Foreigners always think Italians consume ungodly amounts of garlic and Italian food in other countries always has so much garlic in it but in reality we don't actually use it that much lol and we certainly don't eat it like this
Omg the way she slams that cup of water down at the beginning in such an aggressive way, I'm deceasedoh look
lol the bar just gets lower and lower for her content, doesn’t itI’m not going to watch 30 minutes of Roobster squinting in direct sunlight while someone mows the lawn and listens to music in the background.
Oh my god.Wow I was looking at that wondering which thing looked least appetizing out of the diet crisps, the sad bowl of cress, the basket of uncooked asparagus or the single bottle of wine between 4 people… then I clicked to the next story and I think the winner has to be the plate of toast garnished with whole unchopped cloves of garlic! Who tf eats like this pls

I think she has so little life experience, it really is. And yes, knowing Ruby she's probably always associated it with being an 'adult' drink, just like alcohol and it's not to be touched. Her life is so boring. I'd like to see her really step outside her comfort zone and be independent during her gap year, but I know it's never happening.why does she act like drinking and liking coffee is a character and life changing realization? Is it because her sense of self relies so superficially on the most shallow things? Is it because the farthest out of her comfort zone she ever gets is drinking a beverage she would usually not drink? Is it because she thinks in binaries all the time and you can either like coffee or tea, dogs or cats, studying or having fun?
We will never know.
Thank you all for discussing this. I've worked in bookselling and libraries for a long time now and seen a few trends emerge in YA literature. I had wondered why books about male gay characters written by, presumably, straight female writers were so popular. The explanation makes complete sense.I don't disagree but more often than not these sorts of books arent gay mens stories at all. They're usually written by females for females (or for teens), as a female fantasy of a 'cute' innocent gay relationship is like. Heartstopper is an example, as are the Love, Simon books or those Rainbow Rowell books. They all centre on mlm relationships, but have barely any gay or male readers but they do heaps of teen girl superfans. The entire genre of book is sort of fetishising and positions mlm relationships as cute and non threatening for girls to consume.
you must have amazing eyesight because I can't even read the title lolHere’s a sample of the type of work she submits. I feel like a graduating English student ought to be able to distinguish between ”cite” and ”quote” and use a simple expression like ”in spite of”/”despite” correctly.

She's trying so hard to preemptively cope with the possibility of getting a low mark on her dissertation.
If anyone at Netflix actually watched Ruby's content I don't think she would have been invited to the premiere so she should be fine lolRuby: *gets sponsored by Netflix to promote their shows, which she claims she watches and enjoys*
Also Ruby: "My limit for Netflix is Zero Minutes"
Netflix really got themselves a great ambassador here, huh.
