What is it with all these ED recovery channels and peanut butter? Why is it such a safe food for them? Even Abbey Sharp who had an ED goes on and on about nut butters when she "reviews" people's diet. I guess it's because I'm allergic to nuts so I have no idea how amazing it is lol.
A fellow nut allergy sufferer here. Influencers seem to be obsessed with peanut butter recently.

I just picture her on the train going good sir can you direct me to the first class ladies carriage
Ruby harassing the train guard like "Hello, bellhop! It's Roobee! Would you kindly carry my steamer trunks off the train and escort me to the nearest secure waiting room until my parents can collect me? I worry that some ruffians who've consumed too much ethanol might attack me and steal my valuables if I'm left unattended!"

Her to do list is bleeping hilarious. 'Romanticise uni plan'? The duck is that?
Also if her planner is so good and 'everything you'll ever need', why is she using the master to do list? Was that one 'everything a student needs' as well?

EDIT: just saw "DC movie night". Does she plan her movies? Will she watch them in thirty minutes increments? She's bleeping nuts. She can't live if it's not written on a piece of paper.
Did you see she is doing John at 2pm 🤣

Ohhh I hope she makes a video about romanticising uni, it’ll be so beautifully cringey 😂😂😂

Also (unsurprisingly) no mention from her about how wasteful it was for Manilife to shred a tree just to post a jar of peanut butter and a spoon to someone who could easily afford to buy it herself off the shelf.

What happened to sustainability, Ruby?
This is a good point. Isn't this peanut butter sold at stores? I hate companies giving wealthy people free stuff in general; I can't believe (for example) how much free stuff Taylor R gets and how she never seems to be involved with charity work. Companies preaching sustainability should at the very least send their rich influencers a coupon in the mail vs. a giant package. But that wouldn't be romanticised and aesthetic, I guess.

I think that there’s something really icky about clearly wealthy influencers who accept food ’gifts’, especially at the moment. I understand why companies do it but given how many people are really struggling right now, there’s just something so off to me when you see someone who can easily afford food being given it for free - I can’t help but feel it’s a really tasteless marketing strategy right now. Ruby’s at the lower end of this particular scale of evil but it really gets my goat when you see influencers in million-pound houses being gifted groceries and Hello Fresh boxes.

Yeah they sell it at Waitrose. It’s £10 for a kilo so not cheap at all.
It’s also delicious by the way and this has reminded me I need to get some 😂

Rubs me up the wrong way the fact she's well off and her home is so dirty but because it's old and big it's "aesthetic" but if a single mother on a council estate had a dirty house she'd get so much abuse

Or even an e-coupon for minimal environmental impact.

And since Ruby just got at least a week of meals and random food gifts delivered, why didn't she do something charitable and donate the money she saved on food shopping to a food bank or something? I guess that'd break the habit of a lifetime by giving money away rather than taking it from wherever she can.

So much crazy in one photo.

She posted this the same day was post a manic, rambling Insta story about toxic hustle culture. Meanwhile she's adding extra tickboxes to reward herself multiple times for the same tasks on just one of the numerous, redundant to-do lists she has.

"Romanticise uni plan" is the number 1 priority on her list. Actual uni work is less important to Ruby than romanticising uni.

Packing her lunch is an "admin task" - the amount of things she groups into "admin" (friends, family, food) is completely insane.

She's planning to do Christmas shopping at John Lewis. It's the middle of bleeping October.

She's rewarded herself three times for a task labelled 'Perlego sort out'. Will there be a barrage of ads for her "favourite" service that she only uses in paid ads, or is she overcompensating by reminding herself to shove footage of her pretending to use it after she got called out for it here? Only time will tell.

She's lost her mind.

Yup. This is basically the reason her presentation (messy nails, ripped tights etc) winds me up. Ultimately it doesn’t actually bother me at all, but you just know that if a black working class woman dressed like that there’s no way she’d be getting expensive gifted products/food from posh brands. Because she’s white, middle class and has a ridiculous faux-posh accent it’s seen as quirky and charming.

That wax stamp she got gifted is lovely but what a kick in the teeth for the company for her to half arse it. not only is half the design cut off due to placement but there’s a whopping great hair sticking out of it 😵💫

Ruby has made new Instagram highlights for autumn 2021 and summer 2021. This is the first picture on her summer 2021 highlight: a picture from august 2020. I think she posted it here either to a) do her usual trick of mixing in old photos to make us think she’s not losing weight or b) actually highlight how much weight she’s lost by posting it side by side with her more recent photos

disgusting either way 🤢

I just watched that story and ran straight here to say the exact same, what the duck? I replayed it like 3 times because I just couldn’t believe what my eyes were seeing!
How tf did she see that great big hair there and just dump the wax on top of it anyway?!

Knowing Ruby, she’s probably read somewhere how sentimental Victorians would gift each other locks of hair, so now she’s adding one of her own to every letter.

It's her new give away with every planner you can get a strand of hair to grow your own Ruby

I’ve just seen two kittens off to their forever homes so my mind instantly went to a list of essentials you’d need for your own Roobee. Full length mirror for body checks, large but shallow food bowl, an assortment of candles (and fire extinguishers in every room), frozen peas, large sampler pack of different sorts of tea, vlog camera, children’s books, sticky notes. I already have fountain pens, ink, and oatmeal. She can do the mindless busywork portion of my job, plenty of stuff to check off a to-do list.

Don't forget an assortment of tatty blankets that can never be washed

An assortment of Emma Bridgewater mugs, a boater, and a mouldy trunk (or a Fortnum’s wicker hamper) to keep everything in.
