this is petty and I'm only a few seconds into her new video
but

the cups in cupboard terrify the tit out of me why does she have so many cups and why are they stacked like that

Edit: also can't stop criticizing her fashion help
I have a very simple taste as well but a lot of her outfits would look so much better with a slightly better fit or without the huge ass collars

New video's up.

Two minutes in and already there's fire hazard candles being lit at jaunty angles, chipped nails, dead flies and an entire segment of her eating a small, sliced apple. It's practically self-parody.

Behold, such "productive" study techniques as taking notes on Kindle, then typing up all the same notes on Notion, then making paper notes of all the same information. Why do something well once, when you can half-ass it three times over?

Also she doesn't seem to have changed her bedsheets in what must be months.

So do they essentially have two huge ovens with hobs now? I know I may have missed the presence of the newer one in her old videos but I’m sure this is the first time she’s actually shown herself using that one over the “aesthetic” older one that also heats their house?

Also for anyone else interested, she’s revealed her dissertation topic is Victorian Christmas print culture… could there it be anything more Ruby? I mean credit to her for doing something she clearly enjoys just giving anyone who watched her videos a heads up 😂

*shock* she’s also submitting to short story competitions, could she actually, maybe, be taking actual proactive steps towards something she’s considering doing as a career after uni 🤯 Saying that considering she’s in third year, this is more what I’d expect someone in second year to do but maybe she’s already applied for MA s and not said anything so she’s considering this not as her last year

I can feel so much stress and anxiety radiating off her in her new video. Such a difference looking back on other vlogs of her laughing, talking with a genuine smile, and getting excited over little things. I can just sense this feeling of forced authenticity and it's very off-putting. And her obsession with fall is starting to become odd. Like...I thought you're supposed to "live in the moment" "and appreciate life as it comes to you." This is coming from someone who used to watch her videos religiously and idolized her. Oh and of course we have the multiple clothing changes. For someone who wants to be kind to the earth and live simply, she sure wastes a lot of water with excess laundry.

So she prepared for next year by reading one (1) children’s book, making notes on Father Christmas, and taking 40 minutes to come up with reasons why her dissertation topic is relevant (meaning she definitely hasn’t got it approved yet), and her ”day in the life” was filmed about a month ago (before the planner went on sale). Gotcha.

Her voice sounds quite different in this video, deeper and perhaps a little more mature? Maybe, just maybe, she's trying to sound more her age and less like a precocious child?

She is definitely anxious. The faces she pulls...

Ruby stressing herself because she has "work" to do, it's 9:20 and she has to empty the dishwasher.

Ruby stressing herself because "it's 9:30 oh my goodness" and the best thing to do when you are stressed is to set a 45 min timer to "see how much you can read in that time".

This girl needs to throw away the watch and the planners in order to heal, it's pure obsession, even during summer.

Also I’m shocked at the surfing videos? I don’t understand how in some clips she looks so underweight/sick and in this she just looks like normal?

Is this relevant to English literature? It sounds like the most boring topic in the world to me lol

It's definitely a niche topic, but I would be interested in seeing what she says about it. Although, if it's just a mumble-jumble of misused words I won't waste my time. Do undergrad dissertations get made public at all? (Apologies, not very familiar with how these things work, I'm a while away from it!)

You can guarantee that none of her peers in her year do as much prep as she does. It screams of one-upmanship.

Hence why she has to come up with a list of reasons why it’s relevant 😂 Watch her ”decide to” do something completely different when actual dissertation writing time rolls around.

The latest video...so, the bit where Rooobs talks about picking a mini courgette for her porridge from the garden was awkward. How many times can one person say "courgette". I felt like she was going to come out with a poem entitled "Ode to the Little Courgette for my Porridge" :ROFLMAO:

I think Ruby was overenunciating her words again to sound posh and poetic.

Also dislike the annoying spoon flick she does to show she has eaten something.

Like we've said before, her dissertation idea would better suit someone actually studying History.

I couldn’t get over the courgette porridge, that was literally oats, courgette and milk? Water? Who knows? I’m all for bland food in the mornings but no sugar or spices? I was heaving a bit with that recipe.

Right! Came here to say this. I can almost guarantee that this will be a Holly Gabrielle situation whereby in a few years time she'll finally open up about her years of struggling with orthorexia or another ED. I understand some people genuinely like blander foods but oats, water and courgette is on another level.

I think courgette oats are a classic ED food, I follow a few people who are recovered and they talk about how unhealthy that was for them
