Usually really rather low (emaciation). But there are always exceptions, of course.

Sorry to be a bit off topic again, but I've been reading through all the threads and found this video as people were talking about a puppy called Lola, and I just want to say...wtf is this breathing in the audio? I actually had to pause the video and rewind it to make sure it was from this video. Edit- and yes this video is old from 2018 but it's just really strange to me.

This was really creepy with the horror music too But I actually think it’s someone banging cutlery near to where she’s recording the audio, it’s more noticeable in the second “breath” and then a door slams at the same volume.

I watched her studying for the new term video and my only thought while watching it is 'wait... why so early?' and then her studying essentials I would hardly call many of these 'essentials' they are just things that helped her ngl. I love candles but I'd rather have my cozy lamp on when I'm doing my uni work late at night.

I have to say the Kanken is remarkably comfortable. However she tries to carry too many heavy things like a laptop in it. She’s have been better off getting the laptop version which also has padded straps.

Or buying the strap attachments!

Except that I usually retain things better by printing them out, so in a way it does make me more efficient at my job?

hi everyone, sorry if this is a bit OT but can anyone recommend any better planners than ruby's one? i genuinely really like the layout of hers, but it's sold out and much too expensive for me to justify it... plus i don't really have a need for a space to write down my morning routines etc. thanks

definitely the laptop-sized one or at least a large sized one ! they're very durable and have lasted me a while with a lot of weight in them

Tbh I think Molly is just a standard clout chaser. From what I understand, she already had a following from her ED recovery channel, and now that she’s recovered from the ED she needs some new content and to expand her fan base a bit so is just using Ruby to get a leg up.
Also, Molly’s content is already very similar to what Ruby puts out (look at me vlogging my very easy middle class life, watch me sit and read a book in my lovely house in the home counties/west London, now I’m going to spend £12 on 1 latte and a croissant in this boujee cafe etc), but there’s only so far that can take you, so I reckon she’ll be trying to expand into some more academic / booktuby type content in the near future which she can use Ruby to help with too.

She doesn't live in W London, she lives in SE.

She definetly could of. If her parents could pay her private school fees they could of paid for boarding school easily. Maybe she was shy when she was young and they didn't want to send her away?
I inagine she asked to going into secondary school or sixth form but wasn't allowed so she threw a tantrum.

I’m not sure what course you’re doing, but as an Exeter English lit graduate I can honestly say that I know very few people (if any) who “easily got 70 on a last minute essay.” With a degree like English, I also wouldn’t say that knowing a mark scheme can help you get a first. At A Level maybe, but a first at degree level require a level of research and structure that you can’t just game - at least not in my opinion.

Throughout a 3 year degree, I had ONE quiz, and can also count on one hand the number of modules that had a (10%) seminar participation mark. The rest were essays and exams! I graduated 2 years ago, so can’t see this has changed that much.

I am just saying this as a personal opinion and people are completely free to disagree with me! But I worked SO hard on my degree, which included a 2 year break from study due to mental health difficulties (in part catalysed by academic pressure and feeling like a “failure” for any mark below 70).

I graduated with a 2:1 and, looking back, know I worked so hard to get that. The 70 for my dissertation felt like summiting Everest, in light of everything I went though. I just feel uncomfortable with some of the talk in recent threads, which seems to project the narrative that a good Exeter degree is somehow soft/lacking credibility.

I did say in my original response that Exeter marks harshly so I’m not sure how I discredited it. I know many people with similar grades to me, perhaps I just do easier modules but like I said, at the moment I’m averaging a low first (69/71) with very little effort because that’s how I work. With saying this, of course people work differently, it’s just my experience. There was no reason so discredit me just because some people work harder and others less. But that’s all I have to say!

Just to add as I think what I said came across badly! I understand that you’ve worked really hard and I think a 2.1 is a great achievement. I just kind of read it as a personal attack on me because I said for me its relatively easy to get a good grade, hence why I said people work differently and will have different opinions on these matters.
