In the Hamster Dying thread, I thought her writing style sounded more like a normal person and less like someone dying for anor viral thread. Had it been three tweets, I might have been pleased for the family that hamster is okay. Send me money, please, hamster.
Why do all these bloody people only ever have grim, triggering nonsense to share? It’s one big splashing and wallowing around in depression, pity parties and any mention of serious or life limiting disease thrown in for the “you ok hun?” reacts and likes. duck people living day in and day out in their current reality of cancer, poverty and mental illness. They use every trick in the book for one more follower (and another fiver in the tipjar, Patreon, crowdfunder etc). And not a whiff of their absolute white, middle class, living in a first world nation, with (despite it being borderline inadequate) support and welfare, privilege being acknowledged. Much less some bleeping gratitude at how truly lucky they all are.
Are we really supposed to be sad about a hamster potentially having cancer enough to give her money for a specialist? After she has just had two weeks jaunting around the UK during peak priced holiday season?
They are all making me irrationally annoyed today. Good job I have to go to earn some money today or I might be very sorely tempted to break the golden Tattle rule and go in with both barrels.
