Replica Designer Items

Aside from all the debating and slanging going on, what are everyone’s fave rep purchases?

I got a pair of Balenciaga Triple S (white) from a high tier seller and I can’t really see any differences between my auth pair (black) other than the actual sizing is a bit different. I love them so much but my boyfriend says they’re clown shoes

If you’re not going to buy authentic...why not buy second hand? The pre loved market is huge, and you can get really good deals, close to the price of buying a “grade A fake”??

All resale sites have replicas being sold as authentic, there are hundreds of cases where this has happened and still happens. I’m not parting with 1k for a bag that is potentially a replica when I can just buy the replica straight up for a lot less

Yeah I bought shoes second hand authentic Yeezy’s that were quite clearly fake. Weirdly the seller was still claiming they were real but gave me the money back and told me to keep them?!

I bought my partner some Supreme things off StockX as they sell out so quick on release day and I question them as well! Has anyone bought from StockX? Although Supreme is dodgy as hell anyways!

then buy from reputable sites. Vestaire collective checks the authenticity of your item very rigorously before it’s even sent to you. And they check that the item matches the description in terms of wear and tear etc.

They are reputable sites? There are literally so many cases of bags on Vestaire Collective, the Real Real, let alone eBay and Facebook. Authenticators with years of training literally can’t tell some super fakes from an authentic bag because they are such close copies.

It’s from a well known seller called ‘Bean Studios’, you’ll be able to find their contact details on Reddit!

Right where are people getting this “LV bags are made in China then shipped out” from. Reputable sources only please.
Manchester market. It's a full street full of shops filled to the brim with reps. Go to strange ways and it's near there cheetnam hill!

In the rare case you do get a fake bag, Vestaire offer a full refund.

also I don’t get your argument? You’re too worried to buy a secondhand bag in the rare case it is fake, so you prefer to buy a fake one yourself anyway?

I’m not really providing an argument, I’m literally saying I wouldn’t buy off a resale site because I’d rather not end up with a replica when spending in the thousands (many don’t even know their authentic bags are replicas), so I’d just rather buy the rep. It’s my opinion and choice, not an ‘argument’. I couldn’t care less if other people choose to buy off resale sites, I’m not really trying to convince anyone otherwise.

Most resellers allow you to get an authentication done before you commit to purchasing if they haven’t already had it done themselves. Some Vestiaire stuff is sent out without authentication and that’s by the choice of the customer I assume taking a risk and getting stung.

In regards to Vestiare Collective, if you look on their Trustpilot page, there are a lot of customers who pay for authentication and their items are fake. They are also known for relisting and asking customers to relist items which are fake. I can’t comment on other resale sites as I haven’t used them personally.

Aside from being illegal, this is immoral. I don't know why this thread is allowed.

It's Teddy Blake and they blatantly rip off Hermes. It's disgusting.

Agreed. This thread needs to be shut down ASAP.
I don’t condone buying fake/replica due to them being made by corrupt people and taking advantage of child labour etc.

Another good preloved Instagram is “vintageluxurypromise”, a YouTuber (Grace foley), recently bought her Chanel classic flap from there, and it looks incredible condition. (Also more affordable than the current Chanel prices)

‘Known for’ how many times has this happened? I don’t trust everything I read on review sites.

I think people just need to realise if something seems unaffordable then it’s not for you. What do you do when you see a house, car or a holiday that you can’t afford? You stay within your means and accept it’s not within your reach.

People want to look rich when they are not. I blame social media.

Thanks for the direction but I have googled it and I can’t find any concrete evidence at all of them being made in the same factories. Feel free to share if you do.

Yes. Burberry do this too.

No, Bicester village sell off season items, or unpopular styles. I hardly ever see anything classic when I go there. But you can get some real bargains!
