Jeez they’re scraping the barrel now, apparently this mans partner is vilifying him for putting the family at risk because he wasn’t vaccinated .

Edit to say after listening to her she didn't say whats written in that report she said maybe if he had of taken the vaccine he would still be here .

That must be extremely difficult to deal with, trying for a baby when you’re getting pushed apart by all this 😢😢

I think we’re somehow gonna have to stop looking at the news feeds because you’re right, they have terrorised us for over 18 months and being frank, they don’t care about truth and honesty or a balanced article with good information, they just want you to click on their drama Queen headlines so they can earn money from adverts. It’s just disgusting 🤮

hubby hasn’t really improved but I’m gonna have to have a conversation with him about blocking it out otherwise it will ruin him and our marriage.

I guess social media places are also guilty of feeding us with a constant stream of covid stuff, I mean look at what I’m doing right now, typing in a covid based thread where headlines get posted too! 😔

I hope you manage to work things out with your partner
Sending you both hugs
And hugs back to you ❤

My partner has said exactly the same. The media, government and big pharmas don’t care 2 hoots about me, it’s all money in their pocket. He cares 😔

I had a really bad night last night and exhausted today. I’m having time off social media and the tv is off for a few days x

My friend told me tonight it’s on the news about a fitness fanatic, healthy 42 year old man who refused the vaccine, dying of covid. My friend doesn’t agree with me not having the vaccine because of me having CFS they say I’m at risk if healthy people are dying of it. Not very supportive and scares me.

My son has a week off work next week so he’s off to Alton Towers for the day with his mates, they’re all vaccinated but it scares me him going to such big places during the summer holidays when it’ll be packed with unvaccinated people. I feel so anxious about that incase he brings covid home but I can’t stop him going. To then hear about a healthy man my age dying, it’s not been the most calming of evenings 😞

Very similar story on Sky News website tonight, the one my friend warned me about. Also mentions his family say he refused the vaccine and was misinformed.

Try not to get too caught up in those reports they’re made with the intention of scaring people into getting it, it is very sad indeed that this person died from covid. All we can do is take the most precautions we can, it’s very scary when things like this come out it is so heartbreaking.

My cousin had heart failure after his second jab. He’s just been fitted with a pacemaker and given medications he’ll be on for the rest of his life. Before his second jab he was super fit, led a vegan lifestyle and always was active! So getting a jab isn’t a guarantee that you’ll be protected, it’s surely likely but I must say seeing my cousin in this state has me horrified as his consultant is sure it’s linked to his second vaccine. No warnings or nothing!

So what I’m trying to say is jab or no jab, we all need to be careful and remember that vaccines aren’t the only way out of this. We all have to be supporting our bodies as best we can to fight infection, following all measures we know to reduce risks. I don’t think covid will ever be eradicated I think it’s something we’ll learn to live with eventually.

big hugs to you xxx

Apparently he had asthma and did bodybuilding, a lot of bodybuilders abuse steroids and that weakens the heart there could be a lot more at play than they’re saying don’t forget how many people have recovered or have no symptoms at all. I hear that comparison made so many times about vaccine side effects and how little are affected it can work both ways ,surely.

Stories like this are so transparent it's laughable. ( Obviously his death isn't laughable ☹), and it obviously has the desired effect by making people question their decisions.
BUT if stories like this make the news it just goes to show how incredibly rare these deaths are , out of a population of nearly 70million it is rare enough to make the headlines.
Not withstanding their version of young, fit and healthy last time was a man without a spleen.
Please see it for what it is.

The latest PHE figures are showing it’s older vulnerable people that account for most of the admissions so I’d assume deaths would be the same …old people are not priotised for ICU as their bodies wouldn’t cope with the severity of treatment needed.

Its sensationalising any news to scaremonger as per usual. Or plain misrepresentation. Somebody has just described it as journo terrorism in on of my email contacts. They are right xx

Sorry but I've got to have a rant.
Just read posts elsewhere how it's everyone's right to refuse the vaccination but they should expect not to travel as that is not everyone's right!
Also people posting how worried they are for their unvaccinated, in their 20s friend who has tested positive.
Then I just heard a new radio ad "Don't miss out on the good times, book your jab" aimed at under 30s.
I don't know how to express myself except to say people seemed to have lost all sense of reality!
Personally I'm more worried about my husband/mothers/friends cancer returning, my nieces and nephews crashing their cars, my dad/brother/uncles having a heart attack, family members suicidal thoughts.
People seem to have forgotten that people get ill. Viruses have always gone around and put people in bed, made people have long term affects. So this is an unknown one but we can safely say that 18 months later most people survive .
People also think that foreign travel is for holidays but many families are separated by water.
They could fill their headlines with people who have had the vaccine and have regretted it for many reasons but obviously they aren't going down that route... Yet.
Brainwashing working very well indeed.

If that's true, which you'd assume it is as its official figures, then that means the media are lying again.
It was on the news that 70% of people in hospital are unvaccinated, but government figures says that something like 90 odd% of older people were vaccinated, so its either a lie or careful manipulation of hospital figures

I do know a few very elderly people that have refused the jab, as is their right.
I also know elderly people with multiple comorbitities that have supposedly had covid and either been asymptomatic or just slightly unwell.
It's a shame these people don't make the 10pm news headlines, as according to the narrative that's also incredibly rare (even though it really isn't when you know enough people)

A customer/visitor is not going to know if somewhere is 'packed with unvaccinated people '( except from underage people who have not been offered). You can't catch unvaccinated- Ness, you catch covid from someone who is infected with the virus. Which is why there are other measures like hygiene and not getting too close.

The majority of people were unvaccinated when things opened up in April and everyone went places without worrying about it.

All this talk about the ' unvaccinated ' is taught behaviour, and people are being sucked into thinking about it in a certain way .

It's not new information that influencers and celebrities have been paid to peddle the vaccine, but at least they're finally admitting it.
Never mind that an influencer will tell you all kinds of lies if they've been paid enough.

Now there's whispers of giving young people money for taking the vaccine.

They've been bribed with food, ubers, loss of festivals/clubs and holidays and still they're not taking it.
What part of young people understand there is no long term data on this and that they're worried are the government not getting?
They're probably sick to death of being told that they're selfish when their mental health has taken a hit after being told they'll kill granny, missed education, missed socialising and been unable to find employment.
They've also spent the best part of 16mths being told that they are incredibly low risk, and will know that if they've caught covid.

All this news is so damaging to our mental health.

News companies just make headlines out of non-stories to keep us all hooked and sadly we are!

I’m trying desperately to get me and my hubby not to look at any of it but it’s everywhere, the news, social media, conversations, needing to do things in life, and obviously here.

Is it as bad out there as the media make it sound? I doubt it very much but we should still exercise our own caution if we feel we need.

I think I need to start making some good decisions and get us unplugged otherwise our mental health could get beyond our control, and I do not want to be controlled by the scum that are the media companies and social media itself 😔😔

It’s exhausting 😔😔😔😔

Yes to all of this - I feel exactly the same. Exhausting is the perfect way to describe it 😔 I am so sick of all of the scare stories this week and I know it’s going to get worse.

If I avoided the media, I’d still see things on social media, or people would be talking about it in person etc… it’s unavoidable! I know I need to be stronger but it’s so difficult 🙈

I think nearly every old person in residential care has had them here but 1 in 4 staff have not there’s 103 active outbreaks in care home atm but most are asymptomatic and very few residents have required hospital treatment but they’re saying it’s younger people here in hospital and a lot of pregnant women 🤷🏼‍♀️

I understand what you’re saying. Vaccinated people can still catch it and spread it. I’m just concerned either way of him catching covid in such a busy attraction.

I was suspicious about Ladbaby to be honest as they seemed to be well a few days later making videos. It just makes you wonder if people have been paid. Maybe I’m wrong but who knows.

Worrying to see they’ve people in my age group in ICU.

Thank you.

It just scares me as my sons going to a busy tourist attraction next week, bowling tonight and I can’t stop him. I live in fear I’ll end up like that man dead at 42. Yet the jab scares me too and rightly so. I’m so sorry about your cousin xxx

I've been a sceptic for a number of years now. only because something happened to a grandchild and also before that my puppy. Once you see things you start to look into other things and then fall down the rabbit hole

One of my close friends was due to go 'out, out' (aka clubbing) last week but he postponed it until he got his second jab as he didn't feel it was safe.

I just feel this whole narrative has brainwashed (maybe that's too strong a word) people into thinking that once they have the jab that's it. He's had his second jab now and is perfectly happy to go into a packed nightclub, even though he could still get covid as the vaccine doesn't stop you from getting it or spreading it as we have discussed on this thread before. Its practically segregation the way they are gunna deny entry to certain things if you haven't had the vaccine. As I've mentioned before it would make much more sense to have to prove a negative test for entry. I really hope nightclubs, large events and gig organisers etc really rise up and don't enforce it. I completely get asking for a negative test result as 'peace of mind' or whatever (although I'm not sure it's necessary to test for a virus you have no symptoms of but that's a different point) but to prove you've had a vaccine which technically doesn't stop the spread? And if it's to 'stop you getting covid as bad' then surely those that have had the jab would technically be fine and those that haven't are taking the risk if they go in busy places and catch covid. Just tearing my hair out with all that's going on and I don't see a way out or it getting any better.
