Feel like they haven’t done that for a long while? They had years of backlog or something and they were only going to do $20 and up but idk if they even do that now.
Another weird choice for this week’s topic .. don’t get me wrong Grenfell is this city’s greatest recent tragedy and miscarriage of justice but I can’t imagine that many people who listen to a true crime podcast actually really care to listen to over an hour of government failures and class disparity… maybe that’s just me
I agree. I'm very sympathetic to the Grenfell tragedy but I'm just not sure what it has to do with true crime especially as there have been no charges and it's hard to say what they'd be. Negligence maybe? I'm sure if justice was truly served there'd be a crime in there somewhere but it seems a little off theme.
I don't really get it, it just seems like they're running out of content but it's not like crimes and high-profile trials aren't happening. I just looked back and they've released 9 episodes since the start of May and only 3 of them have been about 'traditional' criminal cases. The general consensus is that people aren't as interested in these types so I don't know why they keep doing it over and over
I wonder if it's for their international listeners. For us in the UK, Grenfell feels very recent and while I wouldn't say it's been over discussed, I'm not sure if RedHanded's voice will add anything.

These days Redhanded feels less crime podcast, more social / political history lecture. I'm really turned off by it all. I was an avid listener for years but I struggle to listen to one episode a month at this rate as it's all so braggy and lecturey (made up word 
)

They slowly shifted to the social commentary over time and people who liked the pod for the crime became boiled frogs.
They are not experts in any field except self promotion.
Although they have not recovered from the wondery move on Patreon, they are down over £12k a month!
So many TC pods combine spooky stuff but some now are full on and veering away from TC
Moms and murders now moms and mysteries
Morbid TC now just Morbid
Fully expect these two to try and change the pod to social issues to avoid losing the massive following on SM and all the reviews but their chart positions have been hit badly also and in turn will have advertisers offer lower rates

Eurgh I’m so disappointed in Redhanded, I only listen anymore as they really do pack the episodes with lots of information but I’m finding the episodes not crime and more boring each episode
Yeah the recent episode was guff, I’d listened to the same case on scamfluencers last week and they did it way better!
I'm listening to the Tupac / Biggie case at the moment and I'm enjoying it to be fair. It is true crime so I don't mind them including it.

I haven’t listened since their announcement, none of the cases have grabbed me but I am thoroughly fed up of seeing all their subscriber only episodes appearing on my feed or available earlier than usual episodes for subscribers. Thinking if unsubscribing. There is no easy way of getting rid of those eps off my podcast feed other than manually deleting or removing each one as it appears.
Unfortunate timing with their Natalia Grace release this week, their single short episode coincided with the conclusion of Stephanie Harlowes massive 3 part deep dive whicj really showed how little detail they go into and how shallow their research is.
I’ve heard this weeks case on so many other podcasts. They are definitely struggling to find interesting cases now and are half arsing the research!
Are they still playing down the number of women and children being sex trafficked? When they started trying to push that narrative I knew I had to say goodbye

I find them both a bit irritating but still enjoy listening to most of their output. I unsubscribed at the comments about Hillsborough, which they did apologise for but I couldn't believe what they said.
I worry that they seem to put across their opinions as facts, and they do this quite often.
