She is missing the point of what everyone is saying really isn’t she? That re-post about AD’s is totally irrelevant to her! Yes other people may only work with brands they know and like but I just feel like she wouldn’t say no to anything. Literally she would advertise anything if she’s being paid to and totally contradict herself with the next ad. I had to unfollow her because since Steve has had more involvement with her Instagram and YouTube I just can’t bear to watch. He’s like a child and she acts all immature and giddy when she’s around him it makes me cringe. I used to like her stuff to be honest.

She works with ANY brand and advertises ANY product. It doesn’t matter who it is or what it is ... if it’s providing her with £ she will do it. That’s fine, as long as you stop pretending you only work with brands you love and would buy from yourself because it’s just not true.

The influencing work she does is no where near the same level of effort as a full time job out in the ‘real world’. Not even close. It’s offensive that she thinks that what she does is the same.

There are influencers out there who work hard and could legitimately liken their workload to a normal full time role but Rebecca cannot.

We see her all day, everyday. We know exactly where she is and what she’s doing and most of the time it’s nothing. School run, food shop, dentist, emails or filming while Woody naps. She’s not sitting working for 8 hours per day. She’s a muppet.

And you’re exactly the type of person we all want to follow, support and champion to do well.

This isn’t about being jealous or bitter about Rebecca making money from ads.

It’s just her attitude around it.

Constantly claiming she’s working so hard and that it’s the same as a normal job in terms of workload and sacrifice. It’s infuriating to hear someone effectively belittle the work people (like yourself as an NHS worker) do.

Of course the constant ads are annoying but it’s not the issue for me. It’s how much of an insincere person she’s become.

ADs don’t actually bother me at all, for instance, there was someone I followed who, before gaining a huge following, bought Tropic stuff herself, then raved about. Once she became a bit bigger they contacted her to work with them. Great.. it is something she had been using long before she became big and had actively talked about using it.

I don’t like it when influencers just suddenly post an AD about something they supposedly can’t live without etc without ever mentioning it before. Which is something Rebecca does all the time.

I’m not likely to pay attention to that AD and more often than not it puts me off a product.
