The video of the kids before bed makes me feel really uncomfortable for the obvious reasons... but a couple of other things that struck me was 1. Roma clearly hadn’t had a bath. Call me OTT but my 1 year old has a bath everyday, he’s usually filthy from all the playing and eating he’s done but also because it’s a nice wind down time before bed and personally I find that there is a lot of educational benefits to the kind of play kids do in the bath (counting, learning colours, singing) and there are also great benefits to improving both fine and gross motor skills during bath time.

And 2. that a 10 year old is in pyjamas and ready for bed at the same time as an 18 month old the evening should be where she encourages Alfie to have some alone time, away from his much younger brother and sister, to enjoy his own hobbies or to do some homework. Or go for a dog walk with his dad while she puts the smaller ones to bed. Or even just play on his PlayStation, let the kid be a normal ten year old ffs. My eldest is 5 and my youngest is nearly 2 and even they don’t have the same bedtime routine and there’s less than 4 years between them … my eldest will do her reading or spellings, or play with her Barbie’s or on her iPad while I put my 1 year old in the bath/do pjs and read a book etc. in fact, she usually doesn’t even get into the shower until my youngest is in bed.

Its all so weird in the shack, like a mild version of these stories you hear in America where the parents keep their 15 kids locked up for 20 odd years and they’re completely un-socialised and behave like toddlers

she’s fucking useless. Why is she crying at her kids arguing?! They’re siblings, they’re together holed up in that shack without a break from each other constantly, they’re gonna bloody argue especially being attached at the hip 24/7. She doesn’t even take them to school! Rebecca “hunnipot”, I have 3 kids, my youngest is severely autistic. I have a brain tumour. Every single day I’m up at 5am, getting myself and my children ready and have to leave the house for 7.30am. I have to drive 80 miles a day to take my youngest to school and back because it’s the closest specialist school. I have to come home & do housework, do actual work, while being incredibly sick and I don’t cry or complain about it because it’s part of being a parent. Your children aren’t gonna be angels all the time. Wait til they get older and start backchatting you honestly needs a fucking good reality check!

For the record I think you are fucking amazing (and that is not said in comparison to Beggy because even Rose West would look like an epic mother next to Beggy ) but simply because you soldier on regardless like a fearless warrior. I’m sure you have your weak moments but you always come across as articulate, responsible, strong, and above all, incredibly brave. Parenting is hard enough without also dealing with an illness.

Beggy is such an epically useless cunt that she can’t even cope with doing half of the basics tasks without crying. Pathetic.
