I think Betsy staying extra nights is bullshit, I think it was planned, she has a fit if she can’t find a certain top or bikini let alone not have enough clothes packed.
I know she could go shopping but I think it’s crap, it’s school holidays and hotels are booked up weeks in advance.

All this recent media about the law changing and abusers getting caught etc is nonsense. The police aren’t interested. It’s like they don’t even believe a man could do such a thing “yes we’ve had a word with him and he said nothing happened” well he isn’t going to say yes is he; “do you have any proof” yeah I just pulled out my phone while I was being battered; the one time I had recorded an assault that required hospital, they said it couldn’t be used because they don’t know what happened before!

It's all a load of shit.
She couldnt care less about swanning off and leaving her kids for poverty porn visits and dirty weekends away yet shes beside herself when Betsy is away for a few days?

More like shes realised she has to actually be a parent while Betsy is away and reality is setting in that when Betsy goes off to uni she wont have a free live in babysitter anymore

As I've said, the police were absolutely useless.
My ex husband got arrested several times, but never got charged. This was because the there was apparently not enough evidence for him to be charged. The CPS ( crown prosecution service) were useless too. I actually forgot to mention them earlier. My bruises and injuries were not enough for them, neither was a psychiatrists report, about my mental trauma & PTSD.
I always said, what evidence do you want?
A body?
I believe my ex husband should be in prison. And struck off the medical register.
He abused his first wife, I was the second wife, he's now on his third wife.
I believe he is capable of murder and I think he will do it one day.
And then what should I say to the police, the CPS and friends and family who didn't believe me?
I told you so?

Sorry dont want to derail, recently found out my mum passed away due to covid in February (we were estranged for a few years, its complicated and complex)
So not been around, could really do with a distraction right now, my head is not up for reading through a whole thread, so is anyone in the mood to fill me in whats been going on that is the shit show of the hambletons this week please.
PS, Life is short and precious, if you can make up with important people in your life, try and do it, or you will live with a life of regrets. (sorry)

Thank you & I'm sorry for your loss .
I posted earlier about my ex husband and the abuse I experienced when I was with him.
I mentioned that I had been let down by the police and the CPS.
Friends and family didn't believe me because my ex was a nice man and not capable of hurting anyone.
I said that in my desperation for help, I would almost definitely have gone to Rachaeles new Patchwork centre/ cafe/ laubderette, looking for help.
I don't think Rach, Emily or the squad of fuckwits are capable of providing any help to women who need it.
And I think that if vulnerable women go to this new place instead of Women's Aid & registered women's domestic abuse charities, lives will be lost.

My step son is 16, he would rightly tell me to get a bloody grip if I was crying like R and my son is a year older than T and would have been as brutal as she was, right down to asking for money while I'm having a breakdown.
