I’m 15w3d and I’m fairly sure I felt baby move last night 🥰 it’s so nice to feel this early on !!! Helps bide the time until our next scan

is anyone else not finding out the gender of their little one ? my husband and I found out at the anatomy scan for our previous two pregnancies but this time as it’s our third and we are already blessed with one of each that we might just keep it a surprise !
We didn’t find out and was magical being told when he was born! We were utterly convinced he was going to be a girl, so he surprised us there! There’s only one girl in 8 kids across our family and we were convinced he’d be the one other 😂 but despite our complete conviction I couldn’t even imagine having a girl now BabyA is here 😂

Oh that’s so lovely !!! My dad loves to tell the story of how he was convinced my brother was a girl (after me and my sister) and how magical it was when he was born and they actually found out he was a boy ! They were so sure they didn’t even have a boy name prepared haha . I kind of want a moment like that not gonna lie !!!

I think because I already have one of each I’m so unsure what this baby will be . I have no real strong gut feeling either way . I’m leaning boy but only because I’ve had a dream about having a baby boy a few times since finding out I’m pregnant … so I guess that’ll make the surprise even more surprising haha !

I nipped in the new baby thread and people are complaining about having a baby in this heat - not saying it isn't grim, I had my first as the first lockdown came in and the weather was amazing but it wasnt ideal with a newborn however, being pregnant isnt fun. I've never been this pregnant in the heat before. My one ankle wont stop swelling when i got ourside. How's everyone coping?! My 6 and 3 year old are currently snoring in my bed, crapbag has gone to fetch us a cold drink from downstairs but 4 in one bed with the big bump is not going to be fun tonight 🥵 If Crapbag or I go in the spare room they know we've left, will wake up screaming murder!

I’m 37 weeks pregnant and not coping well! I’m so swollen and can’t get comfy. My head is sweating and my pillow is gross. The fan doesn’t really help either! I went into the spare room last night but it was much the same… hot hot hot. No tips I’m afraid, just solidarity!

BabyA was born in December so I can’t say I was super pregnant in the heatwave last June/July, but even so I remember that being so uncomfortable so I can’t even imagine how those of you who are very pregnant are feeling! The last weeks of pregnancy for me in December were really uncomfortable so if you’re in the last weeks now it must be unbearable!

My cousin’s partner (cousin in law?) gave birth yesterday on the hottest day of the year and he is 10lb11 - she had a planned section as their first was also very big and she had a section with him too for that reason - I can only imagine how she felt at the very end of pregnancy in this heat 🥵

It’s my first and we are keeping it a surprise too! I was convinced until 20 weeks it was a girl. It think boy. Partner thinks girl. Very exciting 🫶🏼 30 weeks today! I was a sun worshiper pre pregnancy but just now im burning with factor 50 on despite being topped up! Hiding in the shade which is very unlike me 😓

I hate the heat as it is so not coping hugely well even though I’m only 15 weeks . I’m so pleased that I’m due in November so by the time I hit the third trimester we should be out of the woods with heatwaves . My firstborn was born in July and we had a horrible heatwave about 3 weeks before he was born . It was hell on earth being that pregnant in the heat

trying to convince my husband that an aircon unit would be a solid investment but he’s not quite sold 😅

YES my right bloody foot won't go down no matter what I do! No other issues with swelling or headache and I've got a MW appointment this morning so BP will be checked then which I'm sure will be fine but it's so bloody uncomfortable. Really made a poor life choice aiming for a summer baby.

It is so rubbish !! Why is it so clunky and non user friendly ? It looks like it was designed in 2005
It refuses to log me in. I've changed my password 3 times this morning and nothing. Nothing is really recorded on there, I have no contact details for my midwife, the only thing that's actually on it is my personal details and a single point of my fundal growth chart. What is the actual point of it?

I want to tear my skin off it's that hot. Live in a new build and they insulate them to high heavens so my house is insanely warm too. Toddlers room hit 32 degrees yesterday too so none of us are sleeping atm 😂
On the plus side, I'll hit 24 weeks and viability week on Friday which is so reassuring.
I've found I'm a lot more anxious this pregnancy, guess it's more hindsight and more knowledge on things that could go wrong I guess.
Feeling kicks often has helped ease it slightly though.

Mine has all my notes and such from my appointments so sounds like that bit is an issue with your trust not using it properly . How frustrating ! If they won’t use it then why make you get it ! It’s meant to have everything on it .

I’ve got no issue with the level of info on there for me just that it’s so poorly designed , logs me out constantly , is slow and basically looks like it was built for the first ever iPhone

I was in your position last year I was in the first trimester trenches of hell basically became a vampire when it was glorious outside. We shelled out for an AC unit and now with a 4 m/o we can’t stop saying how it’s one of our best purchases ever. This heatwave would have been so much worse without it.

Had my results today. 1:770 of pateaus/Edwards and 1:10 of DS. Have my NIPT blood test tomorrow then the super long wait for that to come back.
Quoting myself but my NIPT results came back low risk, phew!
Next hurdle is the early anatomy scan at 16 weeks with fetal medicine.

Not to be smug (and you can all be smug in return with your lovely weather walks with your babies in nice weather when it's gross here) but I had my fleece on today as it was a balmy 14c which was a "feels like" 9c lol.

I'm going on holiday to warm up!
