Potential TMI but I have a discharge query

I’ve had so much discharge with this pregnancy and midwife said it was normal as long as it was clear or white . I’ve been out for the day today with my family today , just come home and gone to the toilet and seen that the clear watery discharge is there but the gusset of my underwear has some yellowy staining. It smells normal and I don’t feel any discomfort . I’ve felt baby moving today as normal as well

Does anyone think I should be concerned about this ? I’ve changed into clean underwear now which is white so if I get anymore overnight I’ll see it . Guess if it is I might ring the maternity unit tomorrow and see what they say .

I would be contacting triage just to double check.
Change in colour can indicate an infection which can come on pretty quickly so may need antibiotic

I'm 26 weeks tomorrow, I just feel like my baby isn't as active as I see other people say theirs is? I know you shouldn't compare, I do feel her throughout the day but not often, definitely a bit more at night time.. I used to feel her low down and have been told at every scan I've had that she's breech, but the last few days I've felt her kicks at the top (under my ribs almost) so I'm wondering if maybe it's because she's changed position? Does the anxiety ever end x

Had my 16 week appointment with the prem team last Tuesday as my last baby was born at 24+5. Was already worried because of the high NT reading at my 12 week scan. From what he could see baby was fine, I wasn’t so good.
Cervix already shortened and funnelling significantly with bulging membranes and signs of infection. Was admitted straight away and had IV and an emergency cerclage on Thursday. My consultant was a lot happier than he thought he would be as my membranes weren’t bulging at that point and all my infection markers were ok.
I’m only 17+3 today so even viability seems miles away- staying hopeful but realistic 🥹🤞

My first was like a little footballer karate kid, constantly kicking me and rolling around (funnily enough, out of the womb, we call him the tiny tornado as he just does not stop). This pregnancy has been totally different, she kicks first thing in the morning for about 10 minutes (boots my husband away, haha), a little around meals and for about 20 minutes when I get to bed. Until she was head down and engaged she was rolling every few hours but not for long. All the advice I've had is that it can vary from pregnancy to pregnancy and to only be worried if her pattern changes. Obviously don't worry about calling your local triage if you need any reassurance though - I saw a tiktok the other day where the lady said she was told the midwives would rather you come in every day twice a day and leave feeling reassured with a healthy baby than put it off and leave without one at all.

@Mermer89 sending you all my love, I hope it works out for you and baby <3

I'm struggling so much with painful Braxton Hicks and cramps over night atm. It's been like this since I went to triage and they told me I was in early labour nearly 2 weeks ago now (I now suspect I was not in early labour). No contact from the midwife about whether I do actually have a UTI and it's keeping me up most nights until at least 3am. Every time it happens I get a little excited that it might be go time but nope, just pain for a few hours then I fall asleep and nothing.

It’s such a worry when you don’t feel them . My first pregnancy my son was an absolute kicking machine , I felt him from about 16 weeks which is early for a FTM and he just didn’t stop . I swore he’d broke my ribs once 🤣

then my daughter my second pregnancy sounds like your little one - not as active . I was really worried at first but she’s perfectly fine . I was ringing triage a lot about reduced movements . Definitely not as crazy as her brother though !!

now baby 3 is more active , I’m 19 weeks and feel them all the time . It’s funny how no baby is the same

if you are really worried then ring triage as it’s definitely better to be safe than sorry . But it sounds like your little one might just be on the more serene side or in a position that you just can’t feel 🩷

Any twin mums to be? I’m 25 weeks with didi twins boy and girl 💖🩵
Not a twin mum to be, but I'm still lurking 8 months on from the birth of my boy/girl twins! Congratulations! Hopefully you've had positive comments from people around you as sometimes people love to be negative when they hear TWINS but every hard moment is so worth it!🩵🩷

Congratulations! Hope you are your babies are doing well 🥰 I’m fortunate enough to have had an easy pregnancy so far for myself physically little to no symptoms which I am so thankful for (apart from constant thumps all over my belly from the babies but I can’t complain at least I know they’re ok 😂) But had some stress recently since my 20 week scan baby girl is very very small and baby boy is bang on average so we’ve had a lot of extra scans and checks. Although consultants are happy for now as long as she continues to grow on her own curve as and will keep an eye on fluid / placenta etc which so far has been fine! Fingers crossed she keeps getting bigger 🤞

Ladies who’ve gone into labour naturally, what were your early signs? I think I’m *actually* in the early stages now (lol, could be false alarm 20 of this pregnancy) - I could barely sleep last night even in our very cool airconned room, because my lower back was so sore and uncomfortable. All morning baby girl has been wiggling and she’s definitely a lot lower than she was yesterday/Wednesday, she’s moving so much more and is right above my belly button now. No contractions really but lots more lightening crotch and sharp twinges that are very irregular. I’m knackered and could use a good sleep, paracetamol has taken a bit of the edge off but made no real difference. Something feels a bit sketchy if that makes sense?

Just debating whether to ship toddler off to his grandparents as they don’t have air con and are happy to have him but don’t want to use up their good will too early!

ETA I’m 39 weeks today :)

So frigging miserable.

Every time i collect colostrum, we have sex, I eat too many dates, all the good labour inducing bits, I get cramps and back ache for about 3 hours then it fizzles out to nothing. I can’t sit on my birth ball for more than 10 minutes because it starts my back aching and gives me awful lightening crotch but then as soon as I get up and walk around, it settles again. Baby seems to somehow have moved back up to my ribs, which I really don’t understand as I was definitely 2/5 engaged at my last appointment on Wednesday and it’s my second.

Didn’t fall asleep until 3am last night and feel so tit this morning again.

ETA - a bit of googling and mumsnet (lol) tells me I am totally misinformed about engagement, I thought it was that first time babies engage and disengage but after that they are engaged and stay there, it’s the other way round. FFS.

Waiting for labour is a mindfuck honestly . Every twinge , new sensation etc you get your hopes up and it usually amounts to nothing 💀 I feel for you !!

I think the worst part is that with my first, we got basically no warning - my waters started leaking one day, then we went into hospital and boom, induction and he arrived. None of this waiting malarky!

Oh that’s honestly better !

I was induced with both of mine previously but because they were overdue . I had weeks of Oo maybe todays the day only to always be disappointed lol . Sweeps never work for me either , I’m not even gonna bother this time

What's everyone using to help with potential stretchmarks? I'm 16 weeks now and have started to pop a little bit so got myself some Weleda stretch mark oil which I'm putting on once or twice a day but as a complete newbie to all this, I'm open to other options 😊

I used burts bees mama belly balm - not a single stretch mark and I had a very big bump! My sister in law recommended it from when she was pregnant with her first, she doesn’t have any stretch marks either! I never thought I’d miss being pregnant but I was exactly where some of you are now a year ago and I feel quite nostalgic 🥰

Just had our 34 week appointment, and my god everything seems so real now!

I have been told baby mog is back to back, and she recommended swimming... any recommendations of maternity swimming costumes? 😂

Oh I hope baby mog turns themselves around - BabyA was back to back too and stayed that way! I found a good maternity swimming costume on vinted!
