Hi girls, new here! Im 31+2 and after some advice or if anyone has been through something similar...
I visited my midwife 3 weeks ago and my BP was raised, she admitted me for monitoring and they noticed reduced movements and protein was seen in my urine. I have been having headaches, so they've diagnosed pre-eclampsia, I am being monitored every week. - So far my protein levels have increased, but BP has been ok (of normal level). I have an app at Liverpool Women's (surprisingly) with a consultant on Fri morn. - I know nothing about this app being made.
I went for my BP monitoring this morning and they said the levels of protein in my water are concerning, along with my other symptoms, itchy blotchy skin, increased urination, frothy urine, constantly thirsty to the point i drink more than a fish, weight loss and tiredness. They said although some symptoms are the same as in pregnancy some are not., which could show for an underlying condition and that it has caused the pre-eclampsia. They said it could show a problem with my kidneys not working properly anymore. I have had kidney stones on the past, so my kidneys I guess aren't in the best condition (this is me assuming they aren't through endless amount of liptotripscy, and passing stones haha), but I have came home and had a google and terrified myself.
Has anyone been through anything similar, thanks in advance!
