Well I must be absolutely neurotic cuz I’m 9+2 and already picking my pram and travel set 🤣

side note: Cybex priam or icandy peach 7?? 👀
Never had one but I lovvvvvvvveeeee Cybex styling. That’s the pram envy brand for me.

Thanks ladies! I went to mamas and papas and was sold on the cybex. If just felt a lot easier to use, sturdier and I didn’t like the icandy as much as I thought I would. They tried to sell me on the e-priam but I don’t know if I’d use the electric function as much

Baby boy was born yesterday at 12:22am via forceps bless him. All looking good and healthy at 6lb9, even though all my measurements were saying baby would be 8lb+!!
I had a feeling, kept checking the thread for your name 🥰 congratulations

I think baby is having another growth spurt, the round ligament type pain I have is crazy. I can’t imagine how she can possibly get any bigger without me bursting 😅😅

Am I being dramatic hear or has anybody else experienced pain under their bump? I'm only 19weeks so it's not pain because the bump is big, it's like maybe nerve pain. Can't really describes be it. But feel like I can't lift my leg up to say, out my socks on. Or when I sit on the sofa, bringing my legs up and cosy comfy its unfortanke, I am practically picking my legs up.

Any advice would be great, I am assuming my belly is just stretching and the nerves are getting agitated, I don't know.

Baby boy is here! Born on 19 November weighing 7lbs 8ozs.

He has a very full head of hair and is my husband’s twin 🥰

Sounds like pelvic girdle pain? NHS has a page on it and there are exercises you can do. Midwife can also refer to physio but I believe there are long wait lists in most trusts.

mine only resolved a bit when baby moved position and is now head down as opposed to lying straight across pressing on me 😅

Thank you so much! I have just googled it and the diagram shows exactly where I am getting the pains. Will speak to my midwife about it. Appreciated, thank you ❤

I second PGP- I didn’t realise what it was for ages! Your midwife will be able to refer you to physio ☺

Thank you, I had no idea what it was, I've never felt anything like it and I'm only 19weeks 😫 I am going to ring my midwife on Monday ❤

Thank you, I will have a look at those. I've been reading about some exercises to do as well, anything that might help because jesus I feel crippled.

I’ve currently got a cold and I’m in absolute agony with my sinuses, it’s so miserable that you can’t take anything other than paracetamol when you’re pregnant 😩

I feel your pain! When I had covid back in August all I could have was paracetamol and it barely did anything. Try your head over a hot, steaming bowl of water. ❤

Anyone else expecting a girl and been on the receiving end of some unhinged comments from people?

Coworker: “Now instead of one willy to worry about, you’ve got to worry about everyone else’s willy.”

He was quite taken aback when I said she might be a les or asexual. 😂

MIL: “I hope it’s a boy so he carries on your dad’s legacy” to Mr Rosey.

Her existence carries on his name regardless!

MIL: “You should make Jones her middle name so she’ll always have that name”…

… so she wants the baby to be called Babyrosey Jones Jones… 😂 duck off.

How are we all soothing back pain? I’ll be 27 weeks tomorrow, have done 4 13 hour shifts this week and I’m absolutely paying for it now 🙃🤣

Hello I'm new here!! Just 30 weeks on Thursday, it's feeling so real now! I need to start on washing all the bags of clothes we've been kindly gifted, does anyone have detergent recommendations? I've read even sensitive ones aren't best so I'm a bit confused! Thank you 😊

im sure lots of people will differ in opinion to me but at an antenatal class they said there is not a recommendation for a particular detergent or type it’s whatever you would prefer. Personally I can only use Persil products as I have extremely sensitive skin to everything so that’s what I’m using on baby’s things also!

We use fairy pre baby, so sticking with that as it’s sensitive anyway. And can buy it in bulk so I’m not flapping about running out 😅

Just pick one and stick to it unless they react. It’s a bit of a marketing tactic all this ‘kind to baby skin’ stuff unless you have a particularly sensitive baby.
Bio is better at getting out biological stains such as poop, sick, wee etc I’d just avoid strong fragrance as that’s the biggest sensitiser.
