Anyone else that’s suffering with calf cramp at night.. how long does yours hurt for after? I woke up about 4am 2 nights ago with awful cramp in my calf, yesterday it was fine but today it is SO sore, it hurts to walk and stand on it, if I point my toes out it’s really painful.. I don’t know whether it’s sore from the cramp or whether I should get it checked out!

Yes most nights - sometimes it feels like my legs are bruised for days, others it’s fine the next morning.

I’m not even full term yet and I am desperate to get this baby out. My third trimester has been one thing after another between leg cramps, PGP, heartburn etc.
genuinely think healing from a section might be the easy part for me

Aldi have got zero % mulled wine and i had some tonight its so nice. Definitely going to be buying more when i go to aldi again

Thanks for the tip. I've really not missed drinking at all in pregnancy so I might pick up some of this for after baby is born for our first Christmas.

The pain in my heels is killing me. I got up at 3am cause I couldn't sleep and have been wriggling around on the sofa since dozing off for about a hour at 6 and been up since. Officially two weeks to go until my due date and I cannot wait.

Sounds like plantar fasciitis. I had this in my 3rd trimester and it annoyingly stuck around through most of my mat leave! Really common to start in pregnancy

As the person above says sounds like plantar, recommend wearing in soles asap. Mine got worse after labour but it too me 4 months PP to realise it was an actual problem icing the feet is meant to help although I found that a warm bath relaxed my feet. When bub is here recommend swapping sides when you carry them when they get bigger, I carried my consistently 91st centile daughter on my left and it was my left foot that was worse, and wear very supportive shoes (my poor swollen feet lived in flip flops which actually was a poor decision).

Thank you! I really hope it doesn't stick around cause it's at the point where I just can't sleep unless I'm exhausted from not sleeping the previous night. In the day it's not too bad and I can handle it, but at night it's really painful.. Red

I had chronic plantar fasciitis before pregnancy for over a year and it was so painful, especially in the evening. I tried all the icing and rolling tricks and changed my shoes and even had a huge boot to sleep in. I finally got to see a physio and she recommended a whole bunch of calf stretches which helped the issue go away within a week.

I do think it’s just 50/50 !
I was told at 13ish weeks I had a left lateral placenta and Googling about that says baby would more likely be a girl but Im having a boy so

and the Chinese conception gender charts for this baby and my first both said girl - both wrong I don’t feel like any of the old wives tales or anything work either!

I was told at my early viability scan and my 12 week scan that i ovulated from my right ovary which blew my mind that they could tell me this info tbh. I was rapidly googling if that determined what gender my baby would be and all things were saying i was having a boy so i was 100% convinced i was having a boy because of this but nope im having a girl. I was very impatient wanting to know constantly before i had my private gender scan and was so shocked to find out its a girl

Sat in the living room and boyfriend shoots up and tells me he’s just seen a mouse run under the sofa couldn’t find it so it’s obviously gone into hiding but now I’m anxious and worried that it’s been in the house and now I’m going to catch something or it a going to best in baby’s clothes/pram/Moses basket.

Dealt with an infestation at work a couple months ago and I swear we all have mouse related ptsd from it because the thought of a mouse in my house is bringing me out in sweats and nausea. I could cry.

You can go as long as you want. They can’t make you do anything at all, they can only advise so you can make an informed decision
Relax, watch your favourite film, eat some food you enjoy and get the oxytocin going x

I can’t answer with complete accuracy but I was literally just on the nhs website ready about inductions as I’m worried it will come to that for me. It said if you have had a none complicated pregnancy it is offered between week 41-42 but you don’t need to accept it, instead you’ll be offered continuous appointments with your midwife to discuss your plans etc

My NHS doesn't induce until you're 10 days over, but no idea what the policy is elsewhere.

I was booked in for an induction on 40+13. That ended up getting delayed a day then it took a day so he eventually came 15 days overdue. I tried everything to get labour going naturally and had 3 sweeps. Trust me by the time I was 2 weeks over I just wanted him out!
