I’ve today found out I’m pregnant! Around 4-5 weeks I think. I’m excited to read through this thread and get some advice! I’m excited for this journey. This is my second pregnancy after a previous loss at 8 weeks. 🤍
It's so nice to know we're not alone in this journey isn't it. Most of my friends haven't had children so I don't want to bother them with my moaning. You're right though we can do this.38 weeks on Sunday and I’m in agony - lightening crotch, pelvic pressure the lot. Also cried a few times over how useless and frustrated I feel. You aren’t alone!! Not long to go now we can do this last bit![]()

CongratulationsHi everyone! Coming in here (nervously) as I've just found out I'm pregnant! I'm only about 4-5 weeks but I'm really scared as I had a miscarriage in April but I'm trying to remind myself that is a new pregnancy and I really hope we dont go through that again. Look forward to chatting to you all 🩷🩷 x
Proctalgia Fugax. I find pushing like you're having a poo helps a bit.Anyone else get javelin a?
Feels like someone is poking my bum with a javelin and it bloody hurts.. random too.
I'm only 15w..
Know the feeling. My cousins gf had their baby two weeks ago and my work bestie had hers a week ago. I'm not jelous or anything 🫣I swear everyone I know who is due around the same time as me has now had their babies earlythe waiting around in the last weeks of pregnancy is the worst!
It’s the hormones causing the body to loosen and relax I suspect. Muscles, joints and ligaments are all affected. I felt like I’d been riding a horse in my thighs and groin from really early on in both pregnancies.I'm only 17.5 weeks and still have no bump but the last few days my feet and hips feel like I've been on a long hike and really ache. But I haven't really gained any weight so not sure why this is happening?
I’d guess it’s a lot to do with hormones. I’ve hardly got a bump but have been signed off sick for pain since 19 weeks. 24 weeks now and went in the other day to hand in a new sick line, they were all like you don’t even look pregnant. Felt like I had to defend the fact that while I don’t look that pregnant, I certainly feel it!!Proctalgia Fugax. I find pushing like you're having a poo helps a bit.

Yes, that's exactly what it feels like! Perfect description! I wonder if it's related to how we carry? I presume further back if less of a bump so perhaps more strain being put on everything. It’s the hormones causing the body to loosen and relax I suspect. Oh blimey! Is there any treatment you can have to help?I’d guess it’s a lot to do with hormones. I remember the second trimester with my first being the worst for physical pain, lots of back pain where NHS stopped physio during covid so chiropractor appointments helped me function at the time.. but I have scoliosis so I almost expected back pain.Proctalgia Fugax. I had this too at almost exactly the same time as you - we were away on a little baby moon holiday and I could hardly walk or move. Had to go to a Turkish pharmacy and try and get some pregnancy safe pain reliefProctalgia Fugax. I find pushing like you're having a poo helps a bit.

I’d avoid personally !Hey everyone, are you actively avoiding sick people? My friend and her boyfriend just said they have coughs and snotty colds but still on to see us tonight, I really don't want to get sick and thinking to cancel but I have health anxiety so not sure if I'm overreacting. I'm nearly 20 weeks and had COVID and flu vaccs.
my in laws came to visit with us a couple of months ago with heavy colds that they quickly explained away as “just clearing up” despite sniffling everywhere.Hey everyone, are you actively avoiding sick people? I am. It's taken me weeks to get over this horrible bug and I haven't been able to take anything to help so if I can avoid going through that again I will.Hey everyone, are you actively avoiding sick people?
