I woke up today and all my symptoms are gone. I’m 8 weeks and saw the baby 10 days ago, heartbeat and all, but this just makes me super worried. Even my boobs don’t hurt today at all! I know it can be normal for symptoms to come and go and I’m thankful nausea only lasted one week but it’s just weird they all went away at once?

I think I’ll book a private scan for next week, my next regular appointment is only in one month and I don’t think I can go that long esp. being so nervous about everything after MC.
This happened to me at exactly the same time & I posted here about it. It’s such a worry when you’ve experienced losses before I know but it can be completely normal. I feel worse in my second trimester than I did in my first, I had barely any symptoms but I would do the scan if you want to. You can’t put a price on reassurance.

In regards to dog chat, I find it easier with 2 dogs than one! I’ve had mine a long time though. They’re getting on a bit now & although it’s going to be a huge change for us all, it’s just something I’m determined to manage. They’re a huge part of my life. I’ve already got my family pre booked in to do their walks while I recover but I think once they realise baby isn’t going anywhere it’ll just be another part of all our lives.

I have my 20 week scan on Monday, excited but a little nervous! Do I need a full bladder? I know it’s gonna be a longer scan and don’t think I can go that long without having a wee 🤣🤣
Mine is on Tuesday!

I have read you don't as the baby is bigger so easier to scan but if I am wrong then happy to be corrected.

I can’t remember what my trust said, just make sure you take a big drink with you. It’s easier to empty the bladder than fill it!

I was sent to empty my bladder at mine so they could see baby. I’d keep well hydrated but don’t worry about downing water while you wait

As others have said I didn’t go with a full bladder for mine! My first scan letter made it very clear how much to drink and when and then my letters for the 20 & 36 week scans didn’t say anything so I just drank as I normally would for the 20 week - they didn’t say anything while scanning me and it was a much more pleasurable experience not needing to wee and flinching every time they pressed near my bladder 🤣

Ahhh congratulations @George01

I’m getting a bit jealous of how quick all the babies are coming now, I want it to be my turn! Although, definitely not ready. Into single figure weeks now so hopefully they go by quickly!!

My ankles are so swollen, thankfully they go down once elevated.. Anyone got any tips for stopping the swelling or reducing it.. x

Ladies I have my 4d scan reattempt in a couple of hours. Is there anything I can do to encourage this little bugger to show her face and move for us?!

Drink something fizzy or eat something sugary before it! Fingers crossed she’s not hiding this time for you 🤞🏻

I've drank a bottle of coke and inhaled a bag of munchies, might actually be sick here 🤮🤣

Well 4d scan done, think I consumed a bit toooo much sugar beforehand, gone from a lazy baby who usually refuses to move to one who was spinning and wriggling at lightning speed, too quick to get any clear pics. She looks like a naan bread and I love her so much 😅

Thank you everyone for kind words! 🤍 I booked the scan for 9th, doctor is on holidays next week but that’s fine. After that it’s only 2 weeks until my nuchal translucency scan and NIPT, so in one month we’ll already know the gender too. 😻
