Im getting mine Saturday (31 weeks) but it’s going straight to my mums in its box. I’d have left it a bit later but I’ve ordered on JL click and collect and that was a convenient date that came up. And I want the other stuff in the orderHi everyone. When did you get your pram delivered? I’m 27 weeks now and we picked mid July for ours to come, and now I’m thinking maybe it should come sooner just in case
I know it’s tough when you’re near the end and all you want to be doing is resting, but if you think something is happening or you get more painful contractions, try and keep moving and stay as active as possible (even bouncing or moving your hips round in a circle on a birthing ball) as it really will help!I was getting Braxton hicks last night every 15 - 25 mins for hoursnothing today tho
but they only lasted 30 seconds an no pain just tight stomach and alot of pressure!
but tmi still has very loose stools and lost more of what I think is the mucus plug today and quite a bit! im hoping I go into labour before this induction so badly
I take them with a pinch of salt. They told me my daughter was measuring over 7lbs when I was scanned a week before she was born, I rushed out and bought loads of bigger sizes & she was only 5lbs 11 when she was bornJust had my 34 week growth scan. He's measuring 5lb 11 apparently which is terrifying since my first was only 6lb 3 when he was born!
can I use a birthing ball now I dont know why I didnt think you could till 39 weeks !? do they actually help? xI know it’s tough when you’re near the end and all you want to be doing is resting, but if you think something is happening or you get more painful contractions, try and keep moving and stay as active as possible (even bouncing or moving your hips round in a circle on a birthing ball) as it really will help!![]()
Yes you can use it. It will help baby move further down in to your pelvis. If you have tiktok have a look on there for exercises you can do on it to help baby move in to the right position.can I use a birthing ball now I dont know why I didnt think you could till 39 weeks !? do they actually help? x
No my first was the same, apparently a gigantic baby but he was tiny but my head still fell off when they said 5lb 11 todayI take them with a pinch of salt. I’ve just read online people saying the care during then is arguably better due to consultants staffing everywhereOh jeez I just seen this and it also clashes with my c-section. Hopefully minimal disruption![]()
Do you have a 16w appointment with your midwife ? That’s when I met mine but not sure if that’s just for first babyWhen did everybody meet their midwife? I know her name but so far no contact whatsoever! Booking appointment was done by community midwife, 12 week scan by hospital, got to go in at 15 weeks as they couldn’t do the Down syndrome test due to baby’s position and that’s being done by the hospital. 20 week scan is due to be done by hospital.
should she be messaging me, should I be messaging her? Feel like we’re destined to never meet![]()
Oh the coke zero caffeine free is so good, I prefer it which is odd cos in general I prefer diet coke!for any caffeine free hunters, just seen in tesco there’s now coke zero caffeine free as well as diet coke caffeine free. tesco have also released their own brand caffeine free diet cola as well
can’t comment on the coke zero caffeine free or tescos own but i do swear by the diet coke one as it really truly is the same. pepsi max caffeine free is the same as well
I'm gonna mention it to my midwife next week and see what she says, to be honest my partner 100% believes this baby will be here before then anyway so I'm half hoping he's right for onceI’ve just read online people saying the care during then is arguably better due to consultants staffing everywhere. I’m contemplating whether to ask for my date to be shifted, as this just feels like another thing to worry about - as I’m just scared about it being cancelled on the day. Even started looking at private births

I had my booking appointment last week and she introduced herself a said 'I'm going to be your midwife' so I'm assuming that until labour then ill see her for my appointments but I do know lots of people have said they've never seen the same midwife twice! When did everybody meet their midwife?
