Definitely call the hospital @Brewtime87 and they should get you in for some monitoring to check on baby, expect they will start having a party as soon as you get there x

I agree definitely ring the hospital @Brewtime87 that’s what they are there for 
The other day I thought I was going to go to emergency room as could not be sure I’d felt anything, baby T is usually really active in the morning, quiet during the days and starts up again in the evening/night. The other day was just like in the early days tiny flutters. The next day all day the movement was non stop. And it’s all back to normal again. I got one kick last night that was the strongest ever, what ever way I was sitting I felt it on my thigh.. weirdest feeling ever… if you are worried though it would be no harm to go to have it checked out.. hope you feel better xI feel like my paranoia has gone into overdrive. The pain I was in yesterday thankfully totally went away by night time, but I don't think I've felt baby move since. Possibly a couple of really faint movements that might not even have been baby. There's no real pattern of movements yet, she's different from one day to the next but I'm really worried
Get yourself up to triage. Don’t sit at home worrying, doubting yourself or waiting just incase she starts moving. They would 100% rather see you and give you half an hour on the monitor and a quick once once and baby be absolutely fine than you sit at home worrying.I feel like my paranoia has gone into overdrive. Baby could have moved and that’s why you felt the pain and haven’t felt her as much since if she’s in a completely different position. But it’s not worth taking a risk. Go get some reassurance 🩷
Thank you everyone, I've spoken to the hospital and am off to triage. No idea how long these things take but just typical it's on a day where my OH is working an hour and half drive away. Feel terrible for worrying him too

How far along are you? It’s really difficult when you haven’t started to quite notice a pattern yet. Definitely go get some reassurance @Brewtime87.
I went in for reduced movement a few days ago, both babies were fine but ended up having a scan for dopplers and turned out twin 1 was transverse, which definitely explained why the movement felt different to usual.

We are 24 weeks. I've got an anterior placenta which doesn't exactly help with the whole feeling movements thing but even when there's no pattern you do still worry don't you. Hopefully I'm home again happy and reassured before I know it.
I've got an Uber to take me as the parking at the hospital is beyond awful, last time I was doing laps of the carparks for 15 minutes til I got a space and still ended up paying nearly £4 when I was there less than an hour. Turns out this Uber driver is a chatty one. Now I'm guilty of being a chatterbox at times but surely when someone's destination is a hospital you calm it down a little bit

From my experiences you’re usually given an initial doppler check within 15ish mins of arriving and then they get you hooked up on the ctg as soon as there’s a bed space available. I’ve never waited long, they don’t mess around in these situations. If baby is wriggling away and they’re happy with the ctg you’ll be home again soon.Thank you everyone, I've spoken to the hospital and am off to triage. Hope she shows you up and has a big old rave in there as soon as they put the Doppler on you. Is your OH meeting you at the hospital?

I can’t remember when they start doing the ctg it might be a little bit later than 24 weeks. But they’ll still have a good listen in and check they’re happy with everything and maybe refer you for a scan for reassurance. Although if you’re anything like me you’ll be booking yourself in for a private scan asap for your own peace of mind
hopefully the pain was just her moving and now she’s wriggling away by your placenta and that’s why you can’t feel it
@Brewtime87 they’ll do all of your obs and a Doppler check, it shouldn’t take too long at all but I don’t think they generally do ctg until 28 weeks. I’m sure all is fine but never hesitate to go in, even if you just need reassurance, I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve already been in but they’d always rather see you and everything be okay than not see you on the off chance that it isn’t. Keep us updated x

I don’t think they do CTG until about 28 weeks but I went in at 24 weeks when my 4 year old jumped on my bump and I couldn’t feel baby move for a while, they did my obs and listened for heartbeat but it was still reassuring. Let us know how it goes x
I’m pretty sure my hospital did a CTG for me at 24 weeks, but the midwife said they do struggle doing them so early because of the size.
On the topic of movement, I would really recommend the kicks count app. I’ve started using it these last few days to record movements and it’s really reassuring, as I often have days where I think I’ve not felt much movement, but in reality I have and have just been paranoid.

Great start with the Uber driver not even checking which part of the hospital I needed so just dropped me at A&E, and this is not an exaggeration but this hospital is so huge it took me 15 minutes to walk round to the maternity centre. Hoping my partner gets here before I'm seen, still not felt her.

Glad everything is as it should be! If you’re still not happy later or you still haven’t felt movement go back. They will see you as often as it takes to give you reassurance
Hope it all goes well, I’m sure it will! Parking at hospitals is a joke! I am literally round the corner so better off walking but because I’ve been so ill we always drive and can never get a space! My last scan was thankfully at 4pm which seems to be home time for the new babies so we managed to get spaces that one time!
Does anyone have experiences of what to expect of maternity care during junior doctor strikes? Worried as my C-sections was due to be brought forward and now clashes with the strikes.
Is it normal to get braxton hicks several times a day so long as they’re not in a pattern?
Oh jeez I just seen this and it also clashes with my c-section. Hopefully minimal disruption
Definitely normal, as long as there is no pattern and they’re not painful!
