my sickness often appeared at night rather than through the day, I never understood why it was called morning sickness tbh. Keep an eye on it though and if you feel it may be more than morning sickness (ie food poisoning) make sure to ring the GP asap. Hope you feel better soon xThis is a really stupid question I’m sure (especially after complaining my symptoms were all gone) - I’ve been up since 3am with nausea and vomiting, is that normal to be ill through the night? Is it pregnancy related or more likely something I’ve eaten? I did have eat defrosted mince last night but it was well cooked
Absolutely exhausted now and going to have to call in sick to work which I’m dreading 🥲
I jinxed myself too! Makes me worried how I’ll cope once baby is here !Yip, I jinxed myself. Woke up at half 2 and been unable to get back to sleep. Now up thinking about how unprepared I am for this baby, a house move, how I should paint my nails and what I’m going to have for lunch tomorrow
Yes but get them from Vinted. My 22 month old has only just grown out of 6-12 months, they are that stretchy!Anyone tried the Bonds Wondersuit? Are they worth the hype?
Oh no! I’ve now just thought about this! My first baby was an absolute dream and we got so lucky, the first few weeks he only woke up once in the night then always slept through. We would often have a nap in the afternoon so I’ve been thinking we can do that again. Forgot I’ve now got a toddler who won’t nap in the afternoon so no chance of that happeningI jinxed myself too! Mine was 24/7! Often worse at night/early hours of the morning. While I was off sick Mr R would come in from working a night shift and find me lying on the bathroom floor crying because I’d been stuck there for hours endlessly puking. This is a really stupid question I’m sure (especially after complaining my symptoms were all gone) - I’ve been up since 3am with nausea and vomiting, is that normal to be ill through the night? Hope you feel better today
It’s probably normal, I was super lucky and had no morning sickness at all during the first trimester. I have only been sick twice in the third trimester and both times late at night, woke up and was violently ill. The first time was after an Indian takeaway - think that was a combo of eating too much and food poisoning as Mr T had bad tummy too. The second time was after I had salad from a deli so not sure if that was food related or if it was just nausea. Try to drink lots of water to flush anything out and if there is recurring sickness do all the usual dry toast etc. rest as much as you can and I hope you feel better soon xThis is a really stupid question I’m sure (especially after complaining my symptoms were all gone) - I’ve been up since 3am with nausea and vomiting, is that normal to be ill through the night? Yes I’m really sorry but I have this with my HG. Regularly wake up at 3/4am, vomit then go back to sleep. I think it’s a combination of hormones surging and blood sugars being low. I keep bananas and crackers by my bed now.Thank you!
I just had never really heard of anyone being actually woken up from sleep to be sick before normally it’s just through the day people talk about! I hope it’s not going to be a regular occurrence![]()
It’s not a risk as long as you’ve had it before as you will have antibodies xMy little one’s nursery has several cases of chicken pox. He’s not got it and never had it yet. Does anyone know if it’s a risk in pregnancy? If he gets it am I likely to get it? I’ve already had chicken pox when I was a baby.
I think it’s uncommon to get it twice but can happen if you’ve had it when you were less than 6 months old which I was. I’m sure it’ll be fine, he’s only in nursery two days so hopefully missed the people that have had it.It’s not a risk as long as you’ve had it before as you will have antibodies x
Yes same for me. I was prescribed promethazine though which I took at night and it stopped the overnight sickness.Yes I’m really sorry but I have this with my HG.
