Not gonna lie gals, I've been inhaling mcflurrys and Maccies milkshakes like they're going off sale.
I seen a tiktok how some people avoid them but I pretended to not see that tiktok and continue with having them 😂

Thanks guys, I’ve just ordered McDonald’s 😂
Don't leave us hanging we need to know your full order

They bought out that 3 for £3 thing today which is a steal so I got a cheeseburger, nuggets and fries when I was passing earlier. Cheaper than the meal deal I intended on having for lunch😂

I’ve basically carried on to be honest. I’ve had sushi a few times in small amounts, had a few red bulls and ate salami. Oh and the ice cream from a van. Idk. A rare steak feels too far which is rich but touch wood I’ve been fine so far.

Got my GTT tomorrow morning. So so nervous. I don't want GD but also the idea of two blood tests whilst dehydrated is just not the one. My veins are awful in the morning and I have such a phobia of blood tests.

Just here for a rant really - I’m 6.5wks maybe almost 7! Today I woke up and felt all my symptoms had gone which is what happened when I had my delayed MC in feb - so of course I freaked out and started crying and rampaging around (at 4am!!!!!!!!!!!) and fell out with my partner who was only suggesting we get more sleep!
Anyway to cut a long story short my symptoms came flooding back by midday after shelling out £95 for a private reassurance scan this weekend. 🙃

Also please no more of that McDonald’s chat - my partners already said tonight we are having a home cooked meal and we are cutting back on takeaways 😂😭

I know it’s easier said than done but try not to worry too much about the test, I was so anxious before mine but it ended up being totally fine, I came out feeling a bit silly for getting so worked up over it! The drink wasn’t great, don’t get me wrong, but it didn’t make me feel nearly as rubbish as I expected. I know everyone reacts differently so I can’t speak for everyone but hopefully your experience will be similar to mine! Try to drink a fair bit of water before because the nurse told me that is fine to do and helps with getting the bloods x

I’ve woken up from my pregnancy afternoon crash nap absolutely dying from hormone induced sinusitis feeling sick as a dog and the first thing that appealed to me for tea was the bloody McDonald’s mix and match order because of this chat.. It’s on its way to me as we speak 😂😂

The mix and match is such a bargain I feel like I need to take advantage of it as much as possible until it ends in June 😂 if you catch me posting about eating daily cheeseburgers and nuggets mind your business , it’s what the baby wants 😂

They missed my bfs burger out of the mix and match so I had to give him half of my chicken nuggets and it suddenly doesn’t seem like such a good deal 😤

ours always does something like that so I order from one slightly further away! They make it really difficult to complain if you order through their app 🫠

That is the absolute WORST! Last time I went I picked up the bag walked out the shop and said to my husband it’s not heavy enough, sure enough they’d left out his double cheeseburger.
he was both equal parts amused and horrified I could tell by the weight of the bag that it was wrong 😔🤣

As someone who also did this and confirmed everything is fine, please remember symptoms fluctuate. I felt worse at 6 weeks than I do at 10 - I don’t even feel pregnant.

This is completely normal as your placenta takes over around then so symptoms disappear or change so please don’t worry if at 8-10 weeks you start feeling human again 😊

@Keera hope your scan gives you reassurance everything is ok 😊

The maccies chat has me craving one too! I couldn’t keep any kind of beef or burger down when I was pregnant so the first maccies we got for lunch on our first day at home was amazing. I didn’t even get to sit down before I’d devoured a triple cheeseburger with extra cheese 🤣

Can anyone recommend any remedies for that horrid tickley cough you get with a cold? I’m about ready to scratch my own throat out and coughing makes me sick. Also every time I cough I get a swift kick somewhere in my belly so don’t think the baby is happy with me either 🤣

I’m usually a lemsip and all the medicine I can take kinda gal but this cold I’ve survived so far on honey & lemon drinks and vapour rub, I’m at the end of my tether and have to give a presentation tomorrow - send help 😩

I may or may not have got a biscoff McFlurry 🙃
McDonald’s chips are a godsend when I’m nauseous too, the 3 for £3 is a really good deal.
