I got my blood pressure checked did it myself, says 122/79 which is normal im guessing so what can cause this loud heartbeat in my ear its driving me crazy, my doctors wont let me speak till my midwife as in there words "I have an appointment booked for 3 weeks time so im not booking another one "
I have emailed the community midwife 2 times with the same email and they've not replied at all been nearly a week... cant belive I cant ask anyone something when worried.. most people get there midwifes number it seems I feel so alone in this pregnancy when I want to ask something!

im sure its something not to worry abut but google doesn't help makes me worry more lol I just want someone like a midwife or a professional to say its ok! plus on google it says you should get it checked if your pregnant
its not fair its driving me crazy its really loud... I have a scan Friday my 20 week one can I ask there or are they not really for that thing?
You see a nurse or midwife after you’ve been scanned so you can talk about any worries or concerns there? I would ring triage if you’re really worried though x
ill just wait for that appointment hopefully I can ask then!
I had this a while ago and my midwife said it was pulsatile tinnitus. It went away after a few days though but it was annoying
Got my moses basket from Clair de lune it wasnt frilly at all and a decent price!What moses baskets/downstairs sleep solutions has everyone gone for? I can’t find anything I like. My sister was going to be buying it but I moaned too many times that her choices were too frilly so now I’m looking myself and nothing is jumping out at me. Is there an option that isn’t a moses basket?

We used a Moses basket downstairs until almost 5 months and she loved it! Slept so well in it
I get tinnitus sometimes which can sound like a heartbeat or something fluttering. Usually comes along when I’m stressed and can last from a day to a couple of weeks at a time. I’m so sorry about your experience with the doctors and midwife. I don’t know if it varies from area to area but it seems like pregnant women really don’t get all the support needed throughout pregnancy to be honest xx
Try clearing your eustachian tube and flush out your nose and sinuses with saline. It’s all connected, might help a little before you see your midwife.
33 weeks and being such a grumpy cow. Every part of my body hurts. And we have zero biscuits or sweet treats in the house. My husband said “how about some oatcakes?”

Had my NIPT scan and bloods today, scan was beautiful, baby is growing perfectly on track, heartbeat is stunning… just have to wait for the bloods now. They said I should have them back in 7 working days. Clinic was great, super medical and professional. Was reassuring that it’s in the same building as my consultants offices. They said I was the first person in today who didn’t want to know the gender.. more bloods tomorrow for the baby’s blood type then nothing until the 20th for a 16 week check up.. feel a lot less overwhelmed today x

we haven’t found out gender either. We didn’t with our first either. It’s one of the best surprises in life…. I don’t know why more people don’t resist the urge to find out. I am SO excited to find out in a few weeks times.
Google the the name of your chosen hospital and “MAU” or “maternity assessment unit”, see if you can bypass whoever is gatekeeping.
I’d suspect it’s to do it’s increased blood flow. I had bleeding gums and nosebleed something chronic 1st time.
Boobs are suddenly not sore. Can't help but be worrying now. Fella said it's just my body being used to being pregnant. Turned 9 weeks today. Someone reassure me pls.
Symptoms definitely do fluctuate! I remember when my boobs suddenly stopped hurting and I cried all day… in the first trimester you’re just clinging on to every sign that you’re pregnant until you have that first scan. This has happened to lots of people, I went on a mad google spree when it happened. Look after yourself!

My firstborn is an August baby and we only used short vests for that time of year.
I seem to recall buying long sleeve for winter but generally stuck to short anyway x
We haven't found out either but I should know soon
I'm just too impatient to wait. I know this ones another boy but still need it confirmed. Gonna go hey baby who do the reveal with the lighting. Ffs I've slept all evening and now wide awake. I forgot now but the tiredness chills out around 12 weeks don't it?
