I'm trying my best not to get impatient now 😆 due date is on Monday. I've a freezer full of colostrum and two packed hospital bags but no baby! I see lots of ball bouncing and curb walking in my future 🔮

I hope you don’t have to wait too long! I can’t believe our due dates are next week! i know baby fudge is here but it’s still strange to think the due date would be next week!

Honestly you and @CallMeHollywood are the first people I remember chatting to so I feel left out 😆 she needs to get a wiggle on!

On a serious note, I spent the first 20 weeks in such a "something could be wrong, don't get attached" panic mode that everything after the 20 week scan has been a complete blur. I can't believe I'm due next week and you would've been due as well 🤯

Does anyone have any tips for easing anxiety please? Or positive thinking tips etc!

I have severe anxiety around miscarriage; I am 5 weeks today. It’s never happened to me personally as I could never get pregnant, but lots of my close friends have some really awful, sad stories. I’m not sharing my worries with them as I obviously don’t want to hurt them or make them feel uncomfortable in any way, so I was researching facts online but I think that actually made me feel worse. I find myself hovering around wondering ‘what if it happens’ and being unable to distract myself. I have ADHD and I’ve stopped all meds cold turkey which I don’t think helos

I will feel so much better after the first scan I’m sure, I just have severe endo so I’m getting a lot of random pains still in scar tissue etc

Baby Wood arrived at 7.50 this morning weighing 6lbs 7oz a whole month before his due date 😊 I started contracting again around 1.30 and when I was checked, I was 4cm dilated and ready to go. We had a section as planned due to his breech and he was born to Shakin Stevens in a theatre full of festive cheer.
Congratulations! Hope you're both doing well. Enjoy the newborn snuggles - they are the best! ❤

I don’t have any tips as I’m still struggling with anxiety around it all too at 16 weeks, but please talk to your midwife as soon as you’re in contact with her as they can get support for you. Hope your worries ease soon.

Bit of a weird one but I’m 26 weeks today and I think baby has had a bit of a growth spurt?

His movements are quite strong now, my placenta is posterior this time (was anterior with my first) so I’m feeling him more than I did back then. However his movements are making me feel a bit sick 😅 obviously I love feeling him move but I just keep thinking they’re going to get stronger and I don’t know how I’ll cope with the sicky feeling unless I get used to it 😂

With my first the movements were quite muffled by the placenta until near the end of the pregnancy 😬

Oh they're getting aggressive alright, I'm 29 weeks almost and defo in the last few weeks I'm getting a bit winded by the movements 😂 could be where it's positioned too, it's lovely to feel them but ya it's intense enough

Need a wee rant because I'm annoyed and upset! I've been trying to get some new bras because mine are now too uncomfortable to wear. I was hoping to get a non-wired version of the one that I normally wear in a larger size but it's been discontinued. Been looking at other brands and aside from having difficulty finding something in my size, 38GG, all the maternity bras would either give me mono boob or have the nursing cups which I don't want. Why does it have to be so damn hard? I'm already in a lot of pain from PGP and can't sleep because my ribs hurt so much that this has really pushed me over the edge 🥺

Hello 👋🏻 new here but I just wanted to give my current thoughts - I am SO DONE 😭

Currently 28+3 with baby number 2. Got a two year old who still thinks sleep is for losers. 3:53am right now, I've barely slept a wink all night and now he's decided it's time to start the day about half an hour ago. duck my life 🙃

Hi guys! I found out I’m having a little girl this morning 🥺 can’t believe it! I’m so happy!
Congratulations ! Fellow soon to be girl mum here. Had a 4D scan on Sunday last week at 31 weeks ans asked her to double check as I panicked in case the 20’week scan was wrong and we’ve decorated the girliest nursery 😂

I had my first hospital appointment yesterday at just over 5 weeks (had a vaginal scan as it's so early) doctor advised everything looked good and to go back in 3 weeks for another scan once baby is showing more.
On my next appointment letter I notice she has put high risk pregnancy this was not mentioned in my appointment so I have no idea why.
This is my first pregnancy, I've no medical history or ever taken any medication for anything also no diabetes etc in my family.
I'm slightly overweight ( BMI is 27/28) and I noticed when they took my blood pressure lately it was slightly raised.

I live abroad and that's my first time ever using the medical system here so they don't have any info on my past medical history, I did get diagnosed with PCOS around 17 years ago but have never really had any symptoms so I forgot I even have it, I didn't mention this yesterday so it can't be the reason of the high risk as they don't know anything about my PCOS.

Any idea why they would have classed it as high risk?

Congrats! How old are you? Could it be to do with age? I have PCOS and here in the UK that didn’t mean I was high risk. My BMI was also the same as yours, 26/27 and I wasn’t high risk. Unless there’s different thresholds in different countries?

I'm 32 so shouldn't be classed as at risk for my age.
So confused as to what it could be, my slight high blood pressure is allI can think of

I would question it at the next appointment, I was orginally high risk at my 12 week appt due to bmi but then at my 20 week they said they had a review and due to my BP and urine being ok I was brought down. That's in Ireland, very confusing. I was like a bull when they deemed me high risk at first and I questioned it and wanted it to be explained and they were like were prescribing you aspirin and vitamin d. I questioned them at thr time asking why and due to bmi they were like oh higher chance of pre clamisa and gd. I'm 29 weeks now and no GD and no BP issues

Yea I would ask the question? I’m 35 which is just in the “geriatric” pregnancy range now. Here in the U.K. you get points so that was my 1 point. I was classed as low risk and midwife led
