On the subject of sickness etc... I have a very very wriggly baby. Every time I eat, she starts kicking even more and it's making me nauseous for about 10-15 mins after. Anyone else's baby a menace?
Yeah, feels like he’s Irish dancing most of the time. It’s wonderful but weird. On the subject of sickness etc... I have a very very wriggly baby. Every time I eat, she starts kicking even more and it's making me nauseous for about 10-15 mins after. Anyone else's baby a menace?
Yep, mine never stops, god help me when she’s here because I swear she doesn’t sleep already, she’s constantly on the move! Makes me feel so sick too, like constantly being on a boat or a rollercoaster with my stomach turning over and overOn the subject of sickness etc... I have a very very wriggly baby. Same! I actually had my husband Google if they can move too much. First thing in the morning, he has to be quiet bc if she hears his voice she'll start going and sometimes it's nice to wake up without being punted in the bladder 🥹 I love it and obviously much prefer it to the idea of a less wriggly baby but sometimes, just sometimes, it'd be nice to eat and for her to not do a spin cycle afterwardYep, mine never stops, god help me when she’s here because I swear she doesn’t sleep already, she’s constantly on the move! Mine wakes up when my alarm goes off in the morning, basically if I’m awake she’s awake so if I wake up in the night it seems to wake her, then the alarm will wake her as wellSame! Yes mine doesn’t, he said the idea makes him feel queasyThis may be a bit personal but anyone else's husband/partner not want to cut the cord if the opportunity is presented to them? He's said no, I don't really mind (his body, his choice etc) but I just thought it was the norm. I don't want him to regret not doing it, either.
I mean I'm picking my battles really, he's so involved (talks to her, buys her clothes without prompting, does all the bonding stuff, organised and attends every appointment & looking forward to NCT stuff) but I just thought it'd be a nice moment! Mine is queasy too, to be fair. Just glad he's not the only oneYes mine doesn’t, he said the idea makes him feel queasymy midwife said he might change his mind on the day.
Mine decided in advance he didn't want to and stuck with that decision on the day! No regretsThis may be a bit personal but anyone else's husband/partner not want to cut the cord if the opportunity is presented to them? I think my husband's exact words when my son was born were h*ll noThis may be a bit personal but anyone else's husband/partner not want to cut the cord if the opportunity is presented to them? My husband wasn’t bothered about it either but he did cut it on the day. Tbh it’s not that big a deal, a bigger thing will have just happened at that point and I can see why he might just want to soak that upThis may be a bit personal but anyone else's husband/partner not want to cut the cord if the opportunity is presented to them? Yeah, I get it completely. Generally speaking I'm not a sentimental person and hadn't even considered having kids before him, but once we started talking about TTC I always pictured him cutting the cord. As you say though, there's something way more important to soak up.My husband wasn’t bothered about it either but he did cut it on the day. I get what you mean-I was the same I was very surprised when he told me he didn’t really want to and I felt a little put out but also a bit relieved in case he did it wrong lol. I just asked him if he remembers cutting the cord and his response was “I cut the cord?”Yeah, I get it completely.
