It's really interesting me how many people say "Do you miss alcohol?" - I was never a big drinker, mainly socially and even the only a couple of beers. One woman said she had 3 glasses of wine a week because she couldn't go without it.

I miss German salami more than I miss alcohol, caffeine or anything else 😂

I’ve never been a HUGE drinker, could always take it or leave it. But let me tell you now I’m at 35 weeks all I’m gagging for is a cider or a vodka red bull 🤣🤣🤣

I haven’t really missed alcohol either but I’ve had visions of demolishing a soft cheese and continental meats board with a sensible glass of red wine while sitting in the hospital bed after delivering

I’m the same, I’m not really missing out on much as I don’t really drink, don’t like steak or soft cheese and meat boards really! The only thing for me is probably prawns and sushi but I didn’t have them too often anyway 😆

Last couple of weeks I’ve started craving pâté, I don’t eat it much normally 🤣 also someone mentioned Aperol Spritz today and I could defo go for one of them but by the time I’ve had the baby, it will be mid October so not quite the weather for it!

My husband has strict instructions to go to the M&S below the midwife led unit and purchase a packet of salami and a can of full large coke once I've given birth 😂 can take or leave alcohol

Sameeeee. I want to eat pate and salami and goats cheese. A glass of red wine would be lovely, too. I had a beer on my birthday and I was absolutely sozzled.

Hi,
I’ve just find out I was pregnant on Saturday. This is my first pregnancy. We was trying anyway so we was made up when we found out. Now it’s sunk in I’m starting to feel scared and overwhelmed. Is there any advice people could give me? Or what to expect in the first trimester?
Thank you xxx

I feel like so many people are surprised that I’m not ‘just having one’ but I don’t see the point. We’ve had quite a lot of events this year and I’m not going to lie, I have missed having a drink at things like weddings as it makes me feel less socially awkward 😂

Congrats! You might feel fine, you might feel awful. I had no symptoms at all but there are ladies on here who still have morning sickness. Call your doctors to get a booking in appointment scheduled. Try and relax, cramping is normal, brown blood isn’t necessarily something to worry about, and in some cases neither is fresh blood. Download some baby apps and speak to some women on those. BabyCentre has forums for women you’re due the same time as you, which is helpful.

Thank you so much I needed this. I’ve been having slight cramping and panicking a little. I’m currently waiting for an appointment they said up to 2 weeks. I never even thought to look at apps so thank you! We kind of guessed I was pregnant as my mood has been all over the place crying, getting angry easily 🙄 luckily my partner is very good and knows how to deal with it😂xx

i am SOOO ready for a steak too (cooked how i like, not how they like you to have it) :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

on another note i'm struggling with my sight the last hour or so, like i'm really having to concentrate to do anything and it feels like i'm seeing stars every so often

I don't drink and I'm vegan so got lots of comments like that even before I got pregnant 😂
