How are you all finding social outings? I’m 10 weeks tomorrow, lethargic as hell and going to a concert tomorrow.. 3 hour’s travel, gates opening at 4 and main act starts at 8.. of course the group I’m going with wants to make the most of the day so I don’t want to be complaining but I’m completely dreading it 😂 they know I’m pregnant but I don’t want to ruin their weekend away either and it’s my boyfriends Xmas present from myself so couldn’t really cancel either 🥲
I was awful 🙈 I'd be falling asleep at shows, dinners out etc and feeling nauseous. I found taking snacks helped with the nausea and with trying to stay awake but it honestly does wipe you out. It definitely gets better on the second trimester so it doesn't last forever. I'm sure you'll have a brilliant time though and just try to catch up on rest the next day if you can.

I'm having what I think is quite bad ligament pain tonight. It's only on one side but it's lasting quite a while and at times is excruciating. Please tell me this is normal 🙈🙏
Yeah I’ve been having this. It’s everything moving around in there. Hopefully it subsides quickly!

I had some horrible stretching cramps around then. Apparently it’s the ligaments stretching as the baby moves up from your pelvis. I also started getting braxton hicks around then as well but that was mainly down to doing too much running around when my kids were off on half term.

Thank you all for the reassurance, it was pretty bad earlier and I started to worry something was wrong 🙈 it's eased off a lot now so hopefully I can get some sleep as the last few nights have been horrendous 😭😂

I'm 7 weeks and I am SO sick. I was sick with my first but I can't remember it being this bad this early. Currently cannot lie down in bed as I feel like I'm going to be sick. Nibbling bread sticks seems to help a bit during the day but is making me worse right now!

5 weeks and not many symptoms yet other than massive, sore and red nipples today 😂😂😂🤔🤔
I was the same and then hit 7 weeks and bam sickness and tiredness came out of nowhere 😆

I’m 16 weeks and went to Harry Styles on Wednesday I was so tired but got through it 😆

Do more people experience this: when people at work found out I was pregnant (very bad morning sickness and all day fatigue) they started commenting about how tired or sick I Look.
I’m quite fed up with it, I already feel rubbish. can’t fit in my normal clothes but also don’t have a belly yet, so I don’t feel like myself at all. Having colleagues telling me I look sick/tired/ bad makes my confidence go down hard!
I work with mostly men and haven’t done a big announcement of it so they’re all too scared to say anything to me. I’m 23 weeks with my third and catch a lot of double takes whenever I’m in the office though. 😂

I hadn’t told anyone till 12 weeks but my boss said to me when I had told her, that she was glad as I really wasn’t looking well in the weeks beforehand and was contemplating stepping in to tell me to go see a doctor etc. I do think they mean it from a good place but your hormones are everywhere when you’re pregnant so sometimes comes across slightly strange!

Do you get any comments about having a third?I get the most rude reactions when I tell anyone who asks that I’m having a 3rd. They seem to think it’s acceptable to ask whether it was an accident as well!

Omg this is my third and I’ve had a couple school mums I barely talk to ask if it was planned! They’re like you have one of each already as well. Ok and???

The rise in abortions has gone up massively due to the cost of living crisis, sadly I’m not surprised people are asking if a third was planned ☹

Yeah I get all sorts of weird comments. The guy at my local shop asked if my husband was happy about this pregnancy!! Some people are unbelievably rude.

I had a lot of "oh, another?" Or "oh was it planned?"
Especially as I had a boy and girl so seen as "perfect"

Tbh, I've been asked every time if it was planned, by multiple people.

I don't think it should be asked at any point as it's none of their business

Glad it’s not just me. Yeah I have one of each as well so people seem to be surprised. I guess it’s because both mine are 4 and 6 now and people wonder why we’d want to reset again. Sometimes I wonder the same thing 🤣

Exactly, like I would never ask someone with no kids why they didn’t have children. Absolutely none of my business.

I'm 35 and this will be my first and probably only baby but all through my 20s I'd get asked when am I having children etc. Part of me wasn't ready in my 20s/unsure but when I hit 29 I did want them so came off the pill. We weren't actively trying at that point but we weren't preventing either. I've had issues in the past with low body weight and my periods stopping so I thought I probably had fertility issues. It used to get me down so much every time people asked that I ended up saying I didn't want children at all (just to shut people up because it upset me) I've only told close family and friends that I'm pregnant and the reaction has basically been massive shock because they thought I genuinely never wanted children 🙈 it's such a personal topic and I would never ask anyone about children because I know how much it can hurt. We took two years of actively trying for this baby and were just about to be referred to fertility when luckily we conceived naturally but that's not the case for everyone unfortunately. People can be so rude on both ends of the spectrum. It's no one else's business how many children you have or whether you have any at all. I don't get why people are so bothered.
