Same. Also feet! I’m already a size 7-8!
It’s mental how much changes in pregnancy isn’t it! This is my third and in my last 2 pregnancies my boobs didn’t get bigger at all until my milk came in. This time around it looks as though I’ve had a boob job! I’m guessing this baby is going to be a hungry one 🤣

Can anyone recommend any good reasonable places to get maternity bras from. My boobs seem to have doubled in size in this pregnancy and my current bras are extremely uncomfortable 😫
I would get some soft non wired bra tops from Asda maybe? I didn’t think my boobs really changed size in pregnancy but when my milk came in I went from a D to a G.

As an aside, I don’t bother with nursing bras, I find it just as easy to pop a boob out from a normal bra and not as fiddly as the nursing bra clips - can save you a bit of money as nursing bras can be spenny.

Thanks, I’ll look at Asda. I do have some sporty maternity bras from my last baby but I would ideally like something a bit more attractive until the baby arrives.

Any other lactose intolerance sufferers in here? I read that sometimes it eases during pregnancy but am having a terrible time with cravings of Nesquick strawberry & cheese 🥲 Nesquick and oat milk doesn't hit the same, and I figure the calcium is good for the baby but christ 😂 having to limit myself lest my tummy sound like a tumble dryer with shoes in.

My husband is so I have the same milk etc. We can get lactose free milk in most shops. I'm in Ireland but most places have them and cheese thank god!! Vegan cheese is rank but the lactose free hard cheese is lovely. With regards milk the lactose free, I see no difference

Have you tried lactose free milk? Tastes the same as normal milk.

I have, but I really didn't enjoy it. Was way too sweet, and a bit thin. I usually have oat milk for everything but my Nesquick craving is really killing me 😅 maybe I'll give lactose free milk another shot

Alpro Not Milk is very similar to normal milk.
😊

Has a sweep ever brought anyones labour on here? I had two with my first pregnancy and don’t know if they worked or not as we also had curry every night and a long walk and sex 😂

I have a sweep booked next week.

Do more people experience this: when people at work found out I was pregnant (very bad morning sickness and all day fatigue) they started commenting about how tired or sick I Look.
I’m quite fed up with it, I already feel rubbish. can’t fit in my normal clothes but also don’t have a belly yet, so I don’t feel like myself at all. Having colleagues telling me I look sick/tired/ bad makes my confidence go down hard!

Definitely. I got told I look bigger every day today. Well yeah I’m a week from giving birth obv I’m gonna look bigger but I don’t tell people they look like they’ve got fatter this week. It sounds so petty but it pisses me off that people think pregnancy gives them a reason to call someone large!

Yes and when you’re finally finished with those comments, then come the comments of “wow you’ve got a big/small bump”. Or “you’ve popped”. It’s never ending 🤣

I had three attempts at sweeps - the first one she was barely able to do anything, and then I had the second on a Wednesday and the third on a Saturday, and went into labour Saturday evening. I'm not sure if it was the sweep as I was 41+5 by then and had also been driven over lots of speed bumps that afternoon (😂) but it probably helped to some extent, especially as my labour ended up being so quick!

Basically once you become pregnant your appearance appears to become something it’s now acceptable for people (including strangers) to comment on, and once you’ve given birth the unsolicited comments will switch to your baby/parenting 🙃 some weird phenomenon about pregnancy/new babies where people just lose their bleeping minds and say things that would otherwise be wildly inappropriate. You can either smile, nod and ignore politely, or ask what their excuse is for looking tit and large?* Depends how confrontational you’re feeling tbh haha

*and I’m sure you don’t look either of those things, but first trimester exhaustion is like no other, I’ll take new baby sleeplessness over that any day!

I'm having what I think is quite bad ligament pain tonight. It's only on one side but it's lasting quite a while and at times is excruciating. Please tell me this is normal 🙈🙏

How are you all finding social outings? I’m 10 weeks tomorrow, lethargic as hell and going to a concert tomorrow.. 3 hour’s travel, gates opening at 4 and main act starts at 8.. of course the group I’m going with wants to make the most of the day so I don’t want to be complaining but I’m completely dreading it 😂 they know I’m pregnant but I don’t want to ruin their weekend away either and it’s my boyfriends Xmas present from myself so couldn’t really cancel either 🥲

Find somewhere you can have a quiet sit down if you need it. That may be a toilet cubicle 😄 I’ve been to a few gigs recently and found that wearing trainers and keeping moving really helped. Even just bopping from one foot to the other. Take snacks, too.
