I’m almost 26 weeks now and suddenly this week my bump has really popped and got huge and I’m really struggling with walking, I just feel like the baby’s going to fall out of me or I’m going to pee myself even though I’ve just been! I’m not even in the third trimester yet! Does it get better or worse from here?! It’s the one thing really getting to me this week 🥴

Thank you for all the recommendations I might make two and be prepared to hate the songs after 🤣 I know this has been mentioned before but is anyone else clingier during pregancy? Hubby has gone out tonight and I’ve run out of things to entertain myself with 🤣 pre pregnancy it wouldn’t have bothered me I would have entertained myself and not really given it a second though but pregnancy I struggle with it which I find odd
I’m the opposite, I can’t stand him 🤣🤣

Same, 26 + 3. My back is very painful, and I’ve been worrying a lot about work next week.

Yes 😂 I’ve been a major clinger the entire pregnancy & 39 weeks tomorrow it’s only getting worse 😆 I feel like a lost puppy following him around whenever he’s at home. Always LOVED my own space and days to myself pre pregnancy so I feel needy 24/7 😅
Gosh yes! My hubby even said you've never been as clingy as you have been since you got pregnant. I hate myself for it but I find myself counting down till he's back from work now I'm on maternity leave 🤦‍♀️
I hope it passes when baba is here
Thanks Both, glad it’s not just me 🤣 I don’t think it helps not having as much of a social life while being pregnant. I went to see my friend earlier for a walk so was back home for 5 where as before I could have been out all day drinking and not noticed he wasn’t even in 🤣now I feel like he’s been gone for so long when it’s only a few hours 😂 hoping it passes post pregnancy 🤞

I'm having quite a lot of pain tonight on one side, quite low down and it radiates slightly to the middle. It's not really like cramps or period pain, it's nothing I've ever felt before. Like an odd sensation but if I cough or sneeze it feels like I've ruptured something. Is this normal?

I get this when I stand up too quickly, I have googled and I think it’s round ligament pain but maybe worth checking with your EPU if you’re worried xx

Have you got belly bands? Might help supporting your bump?

It will probably get a little easier as your joints and ligaments catch up and loosen up, but mostly you’ll just get used to it / learn to move differently. Sending love cos it’s hard

This is around the mark where it got difficult for me physically. Unfortunately for me it has stayed and it’s got to the point now where it is even difficult to sleep comfortably, it’s like my body just locks 😬 if you get any decent tips please share them! I’m almost 34 weeks now and don’t know how I’ll keep going 😅

Been awake since 3am, baby had hiccups and now I just can't get back to sleep! I imagine I will just drift off as my 3 year old wakes up...

I think the thing I’m looking forward to most post pregnancy is the ability to breathe through my nose again.

Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking on this thread for about a month now! I’m around 12 weeks and have my scan on the 25th April. This is my first pregnancy at 38 years old!

I’ve been having thoughts and anxiety that I’m just going to waste everyone’s time because I’m not really pregnant. Did anyone else feel like this before their 12 week scan? Obviously 3 positive pregnancy tests and 2 missed periods hasn’t convinced me otherwise 😆 It sounds crazy when I actually write it down but it’s honestly how I feel. I’ve also had some sad news from a friend who was a few weeks ahead of me so I keep thinking I shouldn’t get my hopes up, while my family and partner celebrate and get excited.

I know intensity of symptoms doesn’t equate to how pregnant you are, but I haven’t had any morning sickness, just aversion to some foods (seafood, eggs and mushrooms- even just the thought of them) and mild nausea every couple of days. I am however very very tired all the time and can burp for England. I guess it all adds up but still convinced it’s all just a hoax!

Just looking for reassurance really. I'm almost 7weeks and this is the 2nd occasion in about 2 weeks there has been brown/discharge on tissue. I've googled it obviously, it's kind of reassured me but any person experience is always better than Google! First timer here😩🙋🏻‍♀️

I had spotting a few weeks back and it went from pink to brown to bright red. Obviously I panicked and thought the worst so I rang my GP and she was very understanding and got me booked in for an emergency scan that confirmed everything was okay. If you are worried I'd definitely get in touch with your GP.

My husband and I felt a bit like this - we found it quite strange that GPs no longer confirm the test and it felt like we could have just got it wrong and made it all up! We were very cautious until the 12 week scan because we didn't want to get our hopes up, so we went into it prepared to be told bad news (or that there had never even been a baby!) which was a way to protect ourselves - but if you're having lots of negative/anxious thoughts about it maybe contact your midwife to discuss mental health support? At least there isn't long until your scan now, hopefully after that you'll feel much better 🙂

Spotting in early pregnancy is really common, but it's always worth speaking to someone for reassurance if you're worried - I rang my local maternity team for advice both times I had spotting, and both times they checked the colour/amount and then told me it'd only be a concern if it became heavier or brighter 🙂

Yep I'm really struggling with atm, he's incredibly active so does a lot of sports and fitness activities, I hardly see him and it's making me quite sad. Normally I can't wait to have the house to myself but it's just not the same now 😂

This is totally normal, in my experience at least! This pregnancy didn’t really feel real until we’d had the 12 week scan and I felt I could tell people. We even had an early scan around 7 weeks as reassurance but I still wanted to see the baby on the 12 week scan before getting my hopes up too much. You haven’t got long to wait now and your symptoms sounds very similar to mine so I’d say that’s a good sign! Not everyone is throwing up for the first three months etc.

Yes going through this too at the moment. 9 weeks and I’m full of anxiety. Barely any symptoms at all (some nausea and so tired). My first pregnancy was horrific, I was in and out of hospital a lot before 12 weeks- but that bizarrely gave me comfort that I was pregnant. This pregnancy is the complete opposite which has made me worry a lot more! As I keep telling myself, you can only control what is in your control, you are so nearly at the first hurdle!

I am 10 weeks and had an early private scan at 7 weeks. Five weeks between them still feels like such a massive wait until our 12 week scan!
