Anyone else who had a planned section feel like it’s never going to happen? I feel like I’ve been pregnant forever & he’s just going to chill in there for the rest of time 😂
I feel so nervous!

Yes and I'm still waiting for my date and I've got about 4 weeks till due date! I thought I would have it by now

Oh no, that’s frustrating you would think they would book you in as soon as possible! Ours was a last minute decision so only decided this week but hopefully having it tomorrow 😳😬

Yes! I know it’s either Thursday or Friday will find out tomorrow but it doesn’t feel real.

My trust doesn't give you your date before 36 weeks so probably similar? Hopefully you find out this week 💕
I've still got around 12 weeks before I find out when mine is and it feels forever away 🤣

So weird how trusts are so different, I've had my planned section date since about 25 weeks, booked in for exactly 39 weeks. However the consultant did say it could change nearer the time if more urgent ones get booked in, e.g. people with medical needs for planned sections like gestational diabetes, cholestatis etc.

Youre so right!
Mine got requested when i was around 20 weeks but consultant said I wouldn't know before 36 and wouldn't be until 39

Is it normal to be completely exhausted at 37 weeks? I can barely get out of bed today and can’t keep my eyes open.

Sick of my body gaslighting me now. Bloody contractions galore for best part of today, getting closer and more intense, but not close enough for the hospital. Decided to jump in a warm bath to ease the pain and now nothing for 2 hours 😫

It's like baby is loving having this last little joke with us before she arrives 🤣

I'm sure it is. I've been exhausted most of the 3rd trimester, but it worsened around 36 weeks. It'd help if I could sleep through the night though. Best advice I can give is discuss it with the other half, and share as much of the household jobs you can, for me my hubby has been my absolute rock for doing the housework & keeping things straight. Rest when you can and make sure you ask for help xx

Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking on this thread for about a month now! I’m around 12 weeks and have my scan on the 25th April. This is my first pregnancy at 38 years old!

I’ve been having thoughts and anxiety that I’m just going to waste everyone’s time because I’m not really pregnant. Did anyone else feel like this before their 12 week scan? Obviously 3 positive pregnancy tests and 2 missed periods hasn’t convinced me otherwise 😆 It sounds crazy when I actually write it down but it’s honestly how I feel. I’ve also had some sad news from a friend who was a few weeks ahead of me so I keep thinking I shouldn’t get my hopes up, while my family and partner celebrate and get excited.

I know intensity of symptoms doesn’t equate to how pregnant you are, but I haven’t had any morning sickness, just aversion to some foods (seafood, eggs and mushrooms- even just the thought of them) and mild nausea every couple of days. I am however very very tired all the time and can burp for England. I guess it all adds up but still convinced it’s all just a hoax!
Yes I felt exactly the same. I had a private scan at 9 weeks and was convinced they were going to tell me I’d imagined it :ROFLMAO: and even after having the early scan, I still felt the same before the 12 week scan. It’s totally normal:)

Has anyone else not had morning sickness in first trimester? I'm only 7 weeks (almost) but my only symptoms are very tired/fatigued and sore 🍒. Otherwise I wouldn't think any different of being pregnant! 😕

Im now 33 weeks but I’ve not been sick once whilst pregnant! I’ve had food aversions but no actual feeling that I was going to be sick. I was very tired and had sore boobs just like you :)

I'm also 33 weeks with my second pregnancy and have had no sickness in either one, some nausea and very tender boobs during the first trimester in both but apart from that I was fine x

My sickness kicked in around the 7 week mark, but hoping you manage to avoid it!

I’m 16 weeks and now I’m feeling better, I’m back to not feeling pregnant again 😂

My main symptoms were sore boobs and tiredness, I also wasn’t actually sick at all just had some major food aversions (basically anything but toast 😂) wore off by 13-14 weeks

I got to 19 weeks before I had proper sickness. My first trimester was a breeze for it. I was the same as you, more tired than normal. I was so glad for no sickness though as its the worst feeling

Had a growth scan today at 32w3d and baby is measuring at 5lbs 14oz and let me tell you, it's a good job I was sat down when the doctor told me 🙃😂
Had a bit of a wobble as baby girl is looking MASSIVE and I'm a bit worried that I won't get the birth I want (know birth plan is more of a wishlist than anything else)
Anyone else been in a similar situation and gone on to have a vaginal birth? Just after some reassurance more than anything!x
