my first pregnancy i had pre eclampsia and despite me expressing concerns to a midwife i was told my swelling was due to the hot summer we where having. Unfortunately as a niave 21 year old i took the midwife at her word and Unfortunately my daughter was stillborn at 36 weeks weighing only 3lb. Her weight was never plotted in her chart and a consultant later told me alot of 'red flags where missed by the community midwife'
My second pregnancy seemed to go ok with no major factors apart from being induced a week early as my placenta was showing signs of stoppiing working. My second daughter was 6lb7 i just assumed this was a normal weight. However, they keep mentioning at my appointments that i have a history of small babies and i was given medication to take from 28 weeks. I am now with a different partner with 12 years since my last pregnancy. Alongside baby measuring small, i also had to be monitored for elevated blood pressure and protein in my urine at my appointment but was let go a few hours later. This baby is pretty active so I've started making a note of her kicking routine and ive tried to google any foods that can help to put weight on the baby from within the womb, does anyone have any advice from experience that could help in any way? Obviously i will always do what is safest for the baby but i would prefer to do everything in power to ensure I lower the likely hood of early intervention. Thank you
