Haven't met her yet cause it was bit of an emergency situation (my first c section after two natural births) but look forward to seeing her later

Feel free to join us over on New Baby threadThank you everyone!! Best of luck with your labour's and meeting your new babies when the time comes!!
I am leaving the thread now but just wanted to say that hypnobirthing helped me massively to handle to sudden changes that occurred in my labour and helped me handle things as they unfolded. If you can at all please do consider it![]()

We use SMA. We used Hipp the first time round but #2 doesn’t seem to like Hipp, she brought it up when we tried her with it. On our first we tried her with Aptimil but she wouldn’t take that (and if I recall her poos smelt horrificFor those of you who plan to formula feed/had formula fed previous babies - which formula did you use and why?
I have no idea how to decide!
4yo I used HIPP organic, purely based on the fact my mum used it when she had my sister. 7mo we used kendamil classic, which he absolutely loved but unfortunately has recently been diagnosed with CMPA so now we’re on Nutramigen which is vile. For those of you who plan to formula feed/had formula fed previous babies - which formula did you use and why?

We went for cow and gate just because it was the most available in most shops around here.Thank you both! It’s so hard to know how to choose. We were thinking of just choosing one (probably SMA or Aptamil) to take to the hospital and having a box of a couple of different ones at home and see how he gets on with them.
Think I’m having braxton hicks tonight. Tight, period type cramps in my full bump, lower tummy pain, back pain, trapped wind![]()
We’ve gone with the Aptamil readymade bottles as they’re sold in our local tescos, if he doesn’t take to it we’ll change. For those of you who plan to formula feed/had formula fed previous babies - which formula did you use and why?

Just thought I'd add to this that Aptimil and Aldi formula is literally identical. It's made in the same factory and just packaged differentWe’ve gone with the Aptamil readymade bottles as they’re sold in our local tescos, if he doesn’t take to it we’ll change.
Like ^ @WhatABore says our midwife told us they’re basically all the same due to strict regulations so if we then want to move onto a cheaper one like Aldi mamia after a few weeks we can.
Yes I also had it well into my second trimester, I think it’s caused by the uterus expanding.Any ladies still had light cramping going into their 2nd trimester? I’m 15 weeks and still get some light cramp/ache. I’ve had a scan and everything looks great so far. I’m guessing it’s stretching pain?
We used Aptamil with our first (had to actually progress to the hungry baby one as you couldn't fill her lol) never had any issues, planning to use Aptamil this time round again and see how we get on but will change it if needed xFor those of you who plan to formula feed/had formula fed previous babies - which formula did you use and why?
