We just bought our Bugaboo fox 3 (we liked to be prepped early 😂). We bought off the natural baby shower website. I bought something else cheaper off there and got a referral code of 15%. Made the Fox 3 about £950something if that helps.
ETA: which I am aware is still a crapload of money. 🤯
That’s the one I want 😍 what colour did you go for?

So they will examine me again at 10 and then decide whether to break my waters or not. I’m 40 weeks today
I think you have to be 3cm for them to break your waters.
Hopefully they'll give you the pessary as I find that has worked almost instantly for me!

Random and probably stupid question… but I have my maternity exemption certificate, so can I just book an appointment anywhere to have my flu jab and just show my cert to prove I don’t pay? Thank you!
Yep! I actually got an invite direct from my GP, but I had actually booked with a pharmacy as well to cover myself as I’m neurotic 🙈 when I booked with the pharmacy I gave my NHS number so not sure if it’s also linked to that? My GP already knows I’m pregnant and when I turned up they didn’t even ask to see the certificate, just my name.

Had a private scan today at 14+4. Was the first scan Iv had where they don’t use CRL.
sonographer is lovely and said all looks good. But is it normal/ok for the 3 measurements they take to be a day or so out
head Circumference was 14+4 but one the other two were 1 and 2 days behind?
she showed me the little average graph and then two were just below middle…. She said absolutely nothing to worry about….. but of course I am!
This is now all new to me and not sure if it’s normal now for somethings to measure behind/ahead ect.
Completely normal, please don’t worry! A day or two swing is absolutely nothing. It would only really be an issue when it’s weeks out.

So glad everything is looking good though and little baby is cooking away in there 🙌🏼 X

Congratulations, glad you and baby are safe. I hope you get some rest and feel better now she has arrived. Good luck with NICU and look after yourself ❤

Been checked over twice and everything is fine but did anyone else’s baby’s movements change at 28 weeks? He barely moves anymore and after being on the trace monitor twice and a scan he’s fine but they just can’t give me an answer on why he’s gone from being so active to only a few movements a day!

I can’t decide on if we should go for a 4D scan or wait until she gets here, I’ve been offered one as a gift by a family member and I would love to see her in there, but it’s such a lot of money and she’ll be here in a few months. Anyone have any thoughts/experience? I’m 28+4 so only a limited time to decide 😬
4d scans are just amazing, it is a lot of money but if someone is offering it to you as a gift I’d say happily accept! You won’t realise until you have it how amazing it is 🥰 this is our second baby as well so I loved having both of the 4d scan pictures to compare 😭 it’s really worth it

Hey everyone! Sorry to jump in and not read others stories but I was wondering if anyone had an experience similar to mine. I've just done a pregnancy test at night and the test took ages to change colour on the window and when it finally did it looked like this. Took 2 more and an early pregnancy one after a late night Asda visit and negative... it is midnight I know and am gonna test in the morning ...

The pic was hard to take and it was a bit darker and clearer irl...

I’m 16+4 now. Last couple of days Iv been noticing a almost light tapping feeling right where my uterus would be. Almost like a light touch to the skin but obviously inside….. hard to describe. Been told my placenta is on the front…. So not sure if I’m imaging things or could this be baby?
Very aware I could be just being really hopeful!
Hi! I posted something similar a few days ago, I’m 17+3 and felt like someone was knocking from the inside, almost like a pulse. I’ve felt it a few times since then but not as prominent. I wasn’t expecting it so early as they say for the first you could be 20+ weeks but from what I’ve read I think it was baby and yours sounds similar!

I feel like we could have the same friend 😅
Have a friend exactly the same & although she isn’t like it with me yet (haven’t told her yet) she is exactly like this with another friend that’s pregnant! Even went as far as being rude about her appointments and comments midwives made. It’s such a special time I hope you let her words fly over your head and you’re allowed to be as excited & happy about it! We only hit 12 weeks today and it’s all we talk about, I can’t help it 😂
It’s just a really shit thing to do I think when you know how excited someone is going to be! This friend even said I’m going to arrange your baby shower then didn’t obviously cause of things going on, then asked me if I was having one!? Emmmm😳🫢 Omg that’s so bad!! Yeah I am trying, think it’s worse today as I’m not feeling the best😂 awww and so we should!! You can’t help it can you, you talk about a different subject then end up back on it somehow😂😂

Has anyone ever felt like their breasts got a bit lumpy during pregnancy? Only 13+5 but they’ve changed a fair bit already and I feel like there’s a lot of bumps on my right near my nipple compared to none (that I can feel) on my left.
Have contacted my GP to be sure but wondered who else had experienced any changes similar?

I did this test yesterday. What do you ladies think? Would you say it’s positive? The line is pretty faint…
my first test looked exactly like that, it wasn’t a strong bar but had that line going straight up, I think potentially give a few more days and test again, I’m sure I read that it means your too early for the full positive result

I couldn’t settle and ended up calling up about the lack of movements

all they’d do for me was check for heartbeat, but it’s helped me worry less hearing it so I’m glad I did go

.. I did worry a lot when they couldn’t find it at first but then they did find it on the side where I feel the movements

home and to relax until this baby scares me again 🙃
Omg they take ages to find my little ones and even though he’s moving i panic until they find it 😂😂

Omg I am so bloated tonight, my stomach looks like I’m 8 months pregnant, I went to the cinema with my dad, lifted my jumper up to show him my tummy and even he was really shocked 🤣 I’m 20 weeks this week, did anyone get bloating like that on an evening?

Any recommendations for a contraction counter/timer? Trying to manifest this baby out of me at the moment 😂
I used Freya - I think it was about £2.99 and there are free ones out there so it just depends what you want. I found it really useful because it guides you through breathing techniques to stay calm so was worth the money IMO ☺

First nhs scan in a few hours, been up since 5 after dreaming all transport stopped and I was too late for the scan 🙈😂
Weirdly felt so calm the last few days and now this morning absolutely sick to my stomach full of ‘what ifs’! Trying to calm with some trash tv before we go 🙏
Let us know how it goes ❤ I’ve got mine on Friday. So excited for you x

I’m only 7+3, I’ve had no symptoms for like 3 days now so my mind is going in overdrive 😭 fingers crossed it’s all ok tomorrow
Hope everything goes well for you! I had my early scan at 7+4 and I was absolutely convinced there was nothing there as my symptoms hadn’t really even started up yet other than being tired and sore boobs. But little baby was in there with a strong heartbeat and it was a wonderful experience. I’m sure will be the same for you x
