Thank you so so much. And congratulations to you too!! It is such an anxious time isn’t it. Thankfully they did and that was a relief that everything was in the right placei noticed a change in my tummy in a evening first around 18/19 weeks, it would harden and now I’m 21 weeks, I’ve noticed my tummy comes right out at the top, under my boobs if that makes sense? Also noticed myself rubbing my tummy more now cos it’s definitely more stuck out! Very exciting
Hey! Congratulations! Not personally had any bleeding but lots of people have said on here that they experienced it on and off, the first few weeks!
I did have a scan when I was 6 weeks though, mine was internal scan but they didn’t tell me they could hear a heartbeat either which made me anxious but I took relief that it was in the right place and looked like it would be okay, did the sonographer confirm that for you?![]()
My poor other half was fortunate enough to have sex today for the first time in quite a while to see if it would work and I’ve definitely been feeling something most of the afternoonI think I heard orgasms can trigger braxton hicks and sometimes bring on labour… sooo….![]()
Omg really?! I’m terrified to try it but been thinking about it. Just in case it starts me offMy poor other half was fortunate enough to have sex today for the first time in quite a while to see if it would work and I’ve definitely been feeling something most of the afternoonI’m hoping this is the start of it now because I’m really over being pregnant
Isn't it to do with the sperm? The sex thing is to do with the hormones released so make sure its intimate / loving and ye enjoy it ladies or ye are wasting your timebest of luck
True, the sperm might help soften the cervix. And during sex oxytocin is released which can bring on contractions. No doubt it was a man who did the research into thoseIsn't it to do with the sperm?![]()
It’s bothIsn't it to do with the sperm?![]()
I’m only 19 weeks and the idea of sex freaks me out completely. Too many moving parts near other bits!I applaud anybody who wants someone near them heavily pregnant. My poor husband still didn’t get a look in even then![]()
Said it before and I'll say it again....I swear his sperm was what brought labour on 5 days early cos there was no fun in itIsn't it to do with the sperm?![]()
BIB - Yes the look of genuine fear on my husband’s face at one point has been indelibly etched on my memory since….The sex thing didn’t work for me it just made me feel even more whale like than I already did
But by that point I was willing to try anything
I'm 14+2 and this is the first week I've had a couple days not sick. The tiredness has been worse than ever but I have been quite busy as it was half term for me this week. Had two parties yesterday and have spent all day feeling hungover despite obviously not drinking. I feel you !!14 weeks tomorrow and I feel like I’ve had 1/2 days since 4 weeks where I’ve felt human again. So grateful but also would like to feel better for just a few days a weekWhen did everyone’s sickness stop/let up a bit?
Feel like I have a permanent hangover and it’s half term tomorrow so my work kids are off & I stupidly planned loads of full on stuff 🫣
