Definitely better to call 111 and they should put you through to EPU and get you seen.
GPS don't tend to do much really. As soon as you're pregnant, they're not very interested

Thank you!

I’ve got an appointment for an early scan it’s this Thursday 😬

The spotting seems to have stopped. Let’s hope it stays away. Thanks for your advice ladies x x

Just to say if anyone is worrying about having an internal scan- it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as I was anticipating. I hate having smears etc but the scanning probe thing (looks fricking huge!!!) wasn’t uncomfortable at all x

Agreed! I had to have one at my 20 week scan as they couldn’t find the edge of my placenta and it turns out it’s completely covering my cervix, hooray 🙄. They really aren’t that bad though, but I appreciate if you get one without prior warning it might not be for everyone!

I’ve had to have 2 cervical length scans during this pregnancy because 4 years ago I had pre cancerous cells on my cervix so they need to make sure it’s not weakened or shortened the cervix. All is good thankfully but if anyone’s got to have it done don’t panic it’s not painful in the slightest x

Trying to work out whether I’m feeling the baby move for the first time or I just need a fart 😂

21 weeks. People keep asking if I’ve felt anything yet so I think that’s made me super sensitive to any sensations in that area. First pregnancy so I’m not really sure what to expect!
All my first movements feel like little bubbles in the gut, but they stay in the same place and are consistent. More noticeable when lying down as well 😊

Hi guys I'm 9 week and have been so sick and exhausted since week 5. I've been very Ill on previous pregnancies so I was so mentally struggling at the thoughts of the months ahead. However I've felt less sick in the last week. Still exhausted but hopefully that will lift soon too? Has anyone else experienced a really constant nausea and exhaustion on previous pregnancies and gone on to have a reasonably manageable one?

Anterior placenta here too! First baby and 22 weeks. Felt a couple of popping feelings but nothing else at all. Feels a bit disheartening when everyone else says they feel loads but my time will come 🤞🏻

Sorry to hear you’re so feeling so unwell. Hopefully it stays away for you. Not me, but a friend had HG in two pregnancies and her third was fine.
If not, would you consider medication to try and manage the sickness? It’s the only way I’ve gotten through my last 2 pregnancies.

I have an anterior placenta as well, first time (4th pregnancy) and I definitely didn’t feel as much early on as I would have done with the others. Now at 30 weeks and while it’s still not the massive movements of other babies, it’s definitely big movements now. Your time most definitely will come x

My sickness has been almost constant for the past few days (who named it morning sickness lol??). Last night all I could manage for dinner was some fish fingers and smiley faces 😂 I’ve started keeping ginger biscuits by my bed for first thing in the morning too, I’m not sure if they actually help to be honest but it makes me feel better than just laying there feeling sick.

We’re having a Valentine’s meal later so I’m hoping I can at least enjoy that!
