Absolute tmi but I was just doing a urine sample for my gp and noticed I had a few white flakes in my pee.. anyone know what this could be

Guys I’ve been putting it off for weeks.
What steriliser did you get? I don’t even know if I need one if I plan to BF but it’s time I at least made a list of recommendations

Could just be discharge that for lack of a better description has been sitting there and just came out with your pee but from the other hole ? I get that sometimes too, that's why I always pee for a couple seconds then take a sample midstream as it can apparently show up as white blood cells on a dip when it's actually nothing!

I got the Milton cold water steriliser cos I didn't want to spend a fortune because I'm planning to BF too. The reviews are good and apparently what all the NICU wards use

That must be a big shock for you, and I hope as the days pass and the more you speak to people, the fear of the unknown will fade.

CLAPA are a fantastic charity, and I’m sure will be able to offer you lots of help support and advice. My cousin was born with quite a severe cleft lip, needing all sorts of surgery. She’s in her twenties now, just got married and you’d never know. She still fundraises for them to this day.

It could be a sign of a urine infection, or it could be normal discharge, or as someone else said residue tissue paper.

I used Mam bottles so I didn't need a steriliser. As their dummies are self sterilising too

So grateful for our NHS. Have been 4 times recently due to reduced movement including this afternoon. Got seen within an hour of phoning each time. I know not everyone has a positive experience but their care of me through endometriosis, miscarriage and now pregnancy has been fantastic.

Think they deserve a payrise more than a medal from the queen!

Having a poop day. Found out an ex colleague passed away yesterday (she was only 29). We weren’t particularly close but because it’s happened so fast after her diagnoses I feel so upser. I’ve also been having awful headaches and nose bleeds the past couple of weeks, had my blood pressure checked but all came ok. I’m also feel super lazy as I was so active before preganancy but just can’t face exercise anymore as work is exhausting me. Am supposed to go swimming tonight but just sat on sofa eating Pringles .
One positive is I’ve felt a lot more kicking than usual this afternoon which has comforted me a bit.

Another crap day here! I just feel so big and unattractive and fed up. My partner hasn’t actually done anything wrong but his constant plans of going out to watch the football are pissing me off cos I just feel like I’m missing out.

So grateful to be pregnant but my god I can’t wait to get my body back!

My doctor said that it’s normal for the discharge to up the ante in the 2nd trimester due to all the extra hormones
When you find out all is okay I hope you complain that asshole doctor that you dealt with yesterday

The amount of discharge lately keeps making me wonder if my waters have broken or not. Its ridiculous.
This baby needs out of me now.

Either way, husband is complaining. My mum is furious too!

Honestly all I’ve thought about today is discharge

I remember I thought my waters had broken and I was about 34 weeks pregnant. Nope, discharge and I pissed myself. Great times

Sad so many people are having shit days, hugs to all who need/want them!

I'm totally knackered again. Feels like I've been working a full week and we're only Tuesday
On the bright side. Little Shrimpy is very active and is kicking in all directions at the same time

My partner has always been active and has loads of outdoor hobbies but I explained last night a bit of extra companionship from him would be nice as sometimes I just feel deserted while I deal with all the kicking, swollen fingers, sore feet.
And yes! I cannot WAIT to have a little bit of core strength back! I’m not even a fit person but having some ownership over my body would be nice x
