Gosh I do feel sorry for her, my sister has had alopecia of varying degrees for years and it really knocks your self confidence. I think she's lost a lot at the front and is brushing it forward and creating that sweep fringe thing. But she needs to look at better solutions because that really draws attention to it and looks very bizarre. If she stopped buying all those Popsies and spent the money on a topper she'd look lovely. Even a scarf or stretchy hair band. Oh.... everybody could send her their Popsy alteration cut-offs and she could use them! Honestly I'm more invested in this lot than I should be!

It'd be roughly the price of 10 static bobble dresses to get some proper help from a specialist hairdresser with her hair. I live in a relatively small town and even we have a place that specialises in weaves, toppers and extensions now, but I appreciate it can be hard to find and trust somewhere straight off.

It looks like previously (going back to being a kid) she has just had a sweeping side fringe to hide a massive fivehead, curious to know how it evolved to the matted nest. 🤔 It doesn't even look backcombed, just tangled and like one massive unkempt dreadlock.
tit. I'm looking at my future then 😂 I've got a 5 head, widows peak and a naturally male receding hairline from the age 0. I've also started to get thinning at my parting for the last 2 years. I'm 31 at the end of the month 😭 😂 HELP

I'm wondering if hair lady has lost too much at the front for a topper? And thats why she's doing what she does? Maybe it's wig time 😕

That's amazing that hairdressers do that now!! Obvs I've heard of and seen hairdressers for ethnic hair (I'm so sorry if that's the wrong phrase!). Never heard of hairdressers for specific hair loss stuff, that's lovely.

It has definitely morphed from a big side swept fringe (which looked ok) to using the fringe hair to make a bizarre headband (which just looks weird). Agree that a good hairdresser would be able to help! She has stunning eyes though 🙂

Someone on Mumsnet asking for recommendations for a party that has the theme ‘dress to impress’. They have a small budget. So of course someone chimes in with Popsy. Who is that supposed to be impressing? Your elderly granny?

Mumsnet style and beauty seem to love Popsy though. I remember someone recommending them as an alternative prom dress. Poor kid.

Some of them wear stuff I wouldn’t even put on to paint the house in…

Why are people telling this poor woman she looks good in this shapeless sack? It’s like a glittery bin liner. They aren’t doing her any favours. And I am not body shaming - I am large as well and it’s not easy to get something to suit larger sizes, but this is definitely not flattering

That’s an awful shape on her. She’s pear shaped and the way it’s cut it looks like it’s making her hips bigger. Something a-line that skims over the hips would look much better, and if she wore a decent bra she’d have more of a waist.

Also I love pockets on a dress but these are in an awkward location and adding bulk.

Woman asking for advice keeping their 10 year old safe online as they have to get them a mobile phone due to divorce. Amount of people moaning that the kid is too young. Thought I was reading Mumsnet for a moment! So unhelpful, you can tell from her post she’s not delighted at her child having a phone but needs must.

Obviously bit odd asking a clothing brand fb group things like this but still doesn’t warrant useless replies like that.

To be fair, the OP seems to have decided that phone = social media, and seemed oblivious to the fact that she could, in fact, give the phone without access to those apps. Some people really struggle with the concept of telling their child "no."

Just caught up on the last few days, I’m honestly disgusted by Gummy’s attitude to safeguarding wtf 😳 her poor kids, she’s putting them at risk by sharing everything about them online but she doesn’t give a duck as long as she gets her likes and comments from strangers on a Facebook group. I’d love to know what her workplace thinks.
