She loves food and cooking, plus she's 25 now so will naturally be filling out a bit. Plus new bf.
I Like the fact she makes recipes and experiments rather than acting like boiling water for super noodles is all she is capable of.
Of course she did think she could build a new life for herself. Get some mates and a new bf, I mean that is why she moved to a new city isn't it?! She just wants to be congratulated for being so brave etc.

£70k also doesn’t seem much when you consider she has 2 full time employees.. I assumed the 70k was not this past year, or if it was that was profit after wages, stock, costs etc etc. Also, did anyone listen to the podcast? Turns out Amelia's leaving.
Interesting! She has appeared sidelined recently with Jess and Beth getting promotions and then them helping with the shoots whilst Amelia was on the computer.
Yeah I've noticed that too. Turns out she's moving away, or moving back home. And is working on a "guide" for the person who will be replacing her - which makes sense why she's been off to the side recently.
