I’m not keen on the new collection at all, the font is so basic. I liked her previous hand written font just can’t understand why she sent for something to bland. I agree with the comment above that the totes are her best product. I haven’t seen anyone else do similar whereas everyone is doing pads and washi at the moment. I’m surprised Gabby hasn’t done washi tape yet

I was surprised about something the other day that I forgot to mention. She said something about sending her designs off to someone who writes the funny things to go with the products or something along those lines. It made me realise that maybe the personality behind the brand isn’t even her after all, it’s a ghost writer of some sort. Really surprised me as I always thought the whole process from start to finish was her like photography, wording etc.

This is common to be honest. It's just a copywriter who writes the descriptions on the website etc. This is a pretty normal thing for businesses to hire in

But the amount she says she makes and the amount that she declares (available on companies house) are two very different amounts. Bizarre. Is she lying to her followers or the tax man

Well what is on companies house is a year behind surely? I don’t know how it all works but are those figures before or after all her outgoings? I have no idea but couldn’t really care less really. I’m pretty envious that she’s so successful in her own business, I’d love that kind of working life.

Oh no, I meant in a legal way lol! The balance sheet submitted only shows a snapshot of the company at the year end date so we have no way of knowing what is going in and out of the business on a day to day basis. We can't see her salary or salary of employees, pension contributions, dividends taken or a breakdown of expenses etc which reduce her profit and corp tax liability. She could of course be lying about her financials but we really don't have enough info

It’s sad that she feels that way in her stories but like, she’s privileged af to even afford therapy to tackle such ‘issues’ which I say lightly as I think there is much much worse people have contended with the past year, giving her following I think I would’ve stayed quiet about this tbh.

She’s been able to work normally and have people around. I’d like her to acknowledge how much privilege she has but she won’t. Even if she does I won’t see as I’ve unfollowed her now

Totally agree, I know someone always has it worse but I live with a shielder so not been able to visit my friends that live a few hours away for the last year and a half! She's out with friends loads and always out for drinks and stuff
