Sadly I think you are rightI'm firmly in the camp that Phil groomed that young man and treated him badly but I think he's going to get away with it. MM hasn't come forward to confirm anything and neither have any other young men.
It looking less likely that this will happen now so Phil will probably get back on TV after a rest. There's too many people who think that this is just homophobia and that he's done nothing wrong (other than cheat on his wife).

I'd love to hear Fern Britton's take on that "wedding anniversary" clip but I'm guessing if she hasn't let loose about Phil by now, she never will (Schofield, not Vickery, of course).I can't help but feel that the whole reel was prepared by PS himself and everyone was given their lines to say by PS - he was doing his bad "acting" - looking surprised/embarrassed. Same bad acting used for the recent interviews.
What a bizarre thing to say that he's worried about people spitting on him. Don't think I've heard anyone say that sort of sentence, except for a peadophile maybe.
People would be pointing/sniggering and mainly KNOWING what a fraud PS is. That's what you'd expect him to be worried about.
So perhaps PS has with a Freudian slip exposed his real fear of being treated similar to his own brother currently doing time - worried about being beaten up and people spitting - not a sentence in your average person's vocabulary.
I’m a lurker passing by, but today in shop someone was saying how awful it is that PS is afraid to go out in case he’s spat at. He’s got no idea. This entire thing, as someone who went through grooming at the hands of someone locally popular effects others. I ended up leaving crying. I was the one spat at and abused in the street. Even after leaving it’s happening again because I stupidly told a mental health nurse who also decided I was lying (fat and ugly = liar) and put it on staff email list.
