I get annoyed when it gets bumped for news, despite never listening live, because I never listen to/watch/read the news to protect my MH (would recommend, it works wonders). I realise this doesn't impact me because we still get the pod, but I think it must be awful for those in similar situs to me who lose their 'light relief'.

Not really sure if this makes sense or not but you'll all be pleased to know that there are already tens of duplicative posts in the FB group getting very angry about it.

In other news, Colin Murray is taking the boys' Friday slot from next year.

Did you not agree to ask a group of strangers on SM every time you have a health concern, a tax problem, a HR issue, or your car has broken down or how to open a can of beans (as far as I am aware this has never been asked but there is always time)?

I’m so sure I’ve seen someone has asked how to open a tin without a tin opener

I think they are playing very partridge on purpose. John being in charge of all of the committee. Elis being late. John deciding everything. It’s very character act.
I think a lot of people assume they are ‘just being themselves’ when they are professional comedians doing a bit.
I know they have shared personal issues - John more so but they aren’t just 2 men off the street sharing their lives.

I would be MORTIFIED if anyone suggested setting up a GoFundMe on my behalf, for something I bought which then broke.
Money from strangers. I know lots of people have no money (I'm not exactly rich myself), but do they also have no shame?

Also, someone bought a car with 6 month warranty, 7 months ago, and are just finding out that the expired warranty is useless?!! WTF?!

Can someone tell me how the PCDs are coping with CrossFit John?

In my head, they're such a bunch of soft lads that they're not coping. But CrossFit John is just so endearing. They must be conflicted.

Yes... I wonder how much of an act they are both putting on, tbh. They are both fairly extreme characters, and I imagine that in their at-home, non-working lives, the two of them are actually very normal

Glad I posted now. The Matt one was absolutely different but some of these people have barely posted/interacted with the group which is somehow worse…as if someone would see the kindness of PCDs as a chance for some easy cash.

I’m sure anyone doing this is having a genuinely tough time so don’t really begrudge them per se, the whole GfM thing irks me because it is rife with piss takers.

John’s Off Menu went up today. I haven’t laughed out loud so much for a while. Also, he talks about his first date with his girlfriend and I made this face (for being so adorable)

Great 90 mins entertainment.

I made that face and 🥹 when I was listening to John talking about the expressive consent and the show during Cool Club, and like Elis the way he's spoken about it its made me want to watch it. But also he really does just articulate stories and anecdotes so well.

He sounds really content with his new GF. I hope this is the one for him. She sounds like she's good for him, which hasn't always felt that way to me from anecdotes about others in the past.

I've never listened to the Off Menu pods, but that's been two rave reviews for our boys doing it so I'll have to listen to theirs. Not sure I've got enough capacity to add another podcast to my rotation (especially not one with a back catalogue as long as theirs - I'm listening to back catalogue of Sexted My Boss, and the only reason I'm able to fire through them is that they're only 30/40 mins long (or 15/20 at my 2.0 speed)).

Someone posted on the socially distanced sports bar that they thought talks master was filming tasks. I don’t think they do this early and also it’s been mentioned on his history podcast it was a family my emergency.
