Thanks to her posting Santa isn't real, my kids were sat in the lounge when I was catching up on insta.

Basically they don’t have friends then. And where are the men? I realise Josh may only have female friends but seems unlikely. Where are his mates? Why does he never socialise without R or have mates round? But odd.

She is a classic 'isolator' in terms of DM. She hones in on his Mum (notice how she encourages her to 'baby' her like a child...crusts off etc.) to ensure she controls the narrative of their relationship with her and that she is the helpless one that needs the care and attention, thus distracting from Josh's needs (her own son!). Josh won't get a look-in in regard to how Rachel frames their whole relationship with his Mum. I get the impression Josh's sister is a bit more clued up tho? She doesn't seem to have been on the scene on her socials for a while so I hope is a bit savvier and less keen to be a part of the social media circus and manages to carve out some time with Josh alone (side note: Rachel might let this slide a bit more as his sister is less of a threat)?

She ensures that he is constantly either at work or skivvying for her and the kids (lots of this is unnecessary...she creates extra work to keep him isolated/focussed on them).

If he does do anything for him (birding) she will always deride him for it.

It's frightening really that she displays all these behaviours while touting herself as DM saviour.

Instead of filming herself having a go at him about it, she could have helped clean it or done something useful. I don’t think my husband would be cooking for me today if I spoke to him like that (he isn’t anyway, he’s at work, but you catch my drift).
