I can’t understand her attitude to paying “over what it’s worth” - does she not understand how the property market works? It’s worth what someone is willing to pay. There is no “price on paper”. Yes the bank has their say, but what dictates prices is the current market. She’s so thick and if she can’t grasp that they’ll never manage to buy somewhere. Also all the comments about paying 20k/30k over asking, I’m pretty sure that’s not on a 75k house (more like a 400k house, in which case it’s not so crazy percentage wise).

Does she actually think if she cash buys the seller would knock back say an extra £5k (for example) to sell to her just because she’s cash buying?. Because I know I certainly wouldn’t of take my chance first with the person offering me more. That’s the aim of the game in property make as much money back as you can towards your new place (not that I need to explain that to yous) this “greedy” rit is doing my head in. She’s an absolute moron.

The truth of the house market is - people will sell their house to the highest bidder (I would!). There's a rise in cost of living - of course everyone will want to get the most money they can. It's not 'greedy' - it's reality!

Abby comes across as a very 'play house' kinda person. Someone who has idealistic visions on how life should be - but without wanting the harsh truth and work it takes to get it. It's not all butterflies and cotton candy in this world. Buying stuff for your forever home but not researching and grafting for the foundation of the home is like putting a bandaid on a bullet hole wound.

She is more focused on just getting a house and prettying it up more than anything. It's hard to watch.

I recently sold.my house for 45k over asking. I didn't even go with the highest bidder which was an unbelievable 55k over asking. I chose the one I thought was most likely to see through to completion (and the one I liked the best because I have lovely neighbours). I had offers from the asking price up, so in abbys mind I'm greedy for not taking the lowest offer?? Give your head a wobble Abby.

I can’t wait for her stories to turn to - - - - - - whilst she repeatedly explains the same point in 6 different ways, darts her eyes from side to side and overuses the phrase “so, um, yeah”

Yes yes yes 👏🏽 👏🏽 this!!!!!!!!!

I mean a 70 grand property isn’t going to go for 45k over however she has to understand that this is the process. It’s not about being stupid, or having too much money or about being stubborn or even greedy. this is just the process. None of us ‘want’ to pay more than the asking price but sometimes you just have to pay up. She’d rather invest her money into good quality white company items that loose their value than into a good quality property which will effectively hold their money safe if not make them money! can’t wait for today! What times the viewing?

All excited for a house she's willing to loose out on because she won't pay over. I earn approx 30k and hubby is on 45k and we dont eat out/spend/shop the way they two do. What the feck have we done wrong with our lives when a couple who are unemployed and on NMW have a better life style than us? 🤣🤣🤣

they don’t though. They’ve barely any outgoings and very cheap rent currently. Never any unexpected bills because the council fix house stuff for them and they’ve no car. She’s not the first clue what actually owning a house will mean and once strapped down with a mortgage going back to further her career to get out of NMW care jobs will be even harder.

She’s deluded and they’re both a pair of dafties. Her husband looks like a moron too.
