Long time lurker here…But so glad there is a thread for her. I have followed her for a long time, before all the saving etc. It just seems like she goes from one extreme to the next. A few years back she completely kitted out her spare room as a nursery, she wasn’t pregnant or planning to have a baby straight away but spent hundreds on a cot, wardrobe changer set. Then started stocking up on nappies and clothes each week so when they did eventually try for a baby they would be prepared. Not sure what happened on that front or were all the stuff went, but I did think it was strange behaviour. Then she changed her mind saying they would start a family when they had their forever home etc. She really is very naive with illusions of grandeur.

She doesn't seem to understand why she was talked about on here though. People followed her because she was relatable, doing an honest days work for an honest days pay, and sacrificing things in life for the greater good, in her case to be a home owner. But at the start it was primarily for her ability to save, I have no doubt that's why she gained her followers. To then turn the tables and splash the cash so blatantly, knowing she has followers who are in financial distress and debt which could be triggering for them. It's like following someone who is a recovering alcoholic who goes on a mighty binge, that can have an effect on people who are influenced by you. And can I just clear up, it's not the fact that she spent her money, no one cares less if she spent every brown penny, it's the fact she so publicly put it out there what she was spending it on and how much. She literally gave us hauls after hauls as well as the holidays. The H&M hauls, B&M, the holidays, the skincare, the cat, the perfumes, the suitcases, the hoover, the velvetizer and coffee machine, the duty free glasses, the cleaning products for her business..why did she feel the need to share it all when her niche was saving? Why couldn't she have kept that to herself. I found it very much 'look at me'.

You cannot have it both ways Abby. You also referred to the sellers of the house as 'greedy'. How do you know they aren't extremely vulnerable people and would commit suicide over being described as greedy? Pot, kettle, black.

If I wanted to work where I live (the outskirts of a major city) then yes the jobs available would be your standard I’m guessing minimum wage jobs: cafes, Sainsbury’s, nursery’s, care homes, small shops, waitressing etc….nothing wrong with these jobs, however like every other normal person I know we all commute into the city for work (still actually working from home 50/50 = winning) and earn good money! Me and my husband left school him with only GCSEs and me Alevels yet have worked our bums off, furthered our education, commute further than a 10 min walk away from home and earn well in the 6 figures!

Oh and Abbey hun by using our credit card (cleverly) so far in 2022 we have flown business class to the Caribbean, the US and Portugal, stayed in 5* accommodation ate in beautiful restaurants and still spent less than the 10k spent on your Benidorm trips points mean prizes aka free flights and free upgrades!

Oh and we have a baby, 2 dogs, 2 cars, house owners, 4 credit cards, topped up pensions (I’m sure Miss Abbey would disapprove of this) yearly maxed out ISAS and over paid mortgage payments, debt free all without cheap council rent or money from Mummy and Daddy. We are normal working class family kids who have a vision for our future, haven’t made excuses and don’t waste money on coffee machines, ugly designer sunglasses or skin care but pay up to live in a nice area where our house made 150k within 18 months of us living there doing zero work to it!!!! She’s actually thick as, I’ve tried to offer her advise so many times and just got blocked. I can’t wait for her shit house to fall to pieces!

She absolutely drives me insane but for the people saying she should hand her flat back she has repeatedly said that half her block is empty because of the state of disrepair. She says she pays rent in advance so the council will absolutely love having her as a tenant. She's doing nothing wrong at all.

THIS Not sure what its like in England but I feel in Scotland no one bats an eye at council houses but in England its fround upon or something? It will not be subsidised at all.

I have been waiting for this thread

This is not the first account she has had, she has been on insta for years building up followings. She has had this account for a while but deleted everything and started again. She even had a pic of the block of flats they live in on there (street name on full display). They currently live in or around helensburgh i’m sure. I’m sure I started following her for decor/cleaning years ago and at that point she did say they lived council and wouldn’t be entitled to a house as they don’t have kids and as they only wanted one they would always live there She used to post pics of her little brother and how much she missed him but has always hated her mum. She was always on spending sprees for designer make up/perfumes, clothes, house items etc.

The epiphany to move came in 2020/2021 i’m sure and they tried for a mortgage but the husband got declined and ended up ill with stress. She posted pics of how much weight he had lost then they decided to cash buy. She was accepted for a mortgage but didnt want to be soley responsible. They even viewed a couple houses!!

She has always been like this so up & down. All or nothing kind of thing. At one point the spare bedroom was turned into a nursery. I kid you not a full on nursery with a cot, furniture, baby clothes THE LOT! She wasn’t pregnant and wasn’t planning on having kids yet they just wanted to be prepared as they dont have family to help them. Her insta then randomly disappeared. I did wonder if maybe she was pregnant and something had happened but who knows I’ll post a screenshot of it! I’m sure this was from November 2020.

One minute they both have no family but then mentions her husbands? I’m sure his brother helped with diy stuff at one point and her mother in law watches the pets. I think he just goes along with her.

I personally think she is undiagnosed with a mental health issue. Everything is so extreme at all times. Definitely a narcissist! NOTHING is ever her fault.

I also just wanted to say with regards to council housing I feel it is viewed completely different in Scotland than it is in England. In Scotland your tenancy is protected so you aren’t unexpectedly given notice to leave like you can be with private renting. The rent is cheaper but unless you are entitled to housing benefit you will pay full rent and council tax. Private rent prices are insane. I live in a 4 in a block council flat and the flat below used to be private owned and rented out and the rent was literally double what we pay! Most people wouldn’t be able to save for a mortgage if they private rented. She wont be entitled to any housing benefit or council tax reduction as they both work so they will pay full rent and council tax, they aren’t doing anything wrong on that front.

I don’t recall any. Mad how she’s claiming “online bullying” yet she dragged her own family and her husbands family for being wasters, put pictures of her Dad online, constantly talks down about where she lives and that she can’t wait to leave. Ahhh this gal has been around for years I just realised who she is. She was absolutely hell bent on having a baby years ago (but not for a few years) and bought all the nursery furniture and set it all up in the spare room, unpacked the bloody baby grows into her drawers ect even although they wouldn’t be trying for a baby for years (until they got their house) not sure if it was mentioned but she is absolutely crazy she will be buying a house in some of the roughest areas in the west of Scotland she already admitted that years ago hence the v low price tag. She’s lost it. Who buys a house so cheap and does a high end Reno especially because she will NEVER be happy never ever and will always want the next thing so they will ultimately lose a lot of money if they sell. She’s a silly one and she’s not grown up in about the 5 years I’ve known of her it seems

I followed her. Wondered what set her off and why she deleted and googled her @ and came across this thread.
I liked her at the start.
Over time though, things did not add up.
I remember her bleating on at one point to say she never bought clothes and had a wardrobe of key items to chuck outfits together. Then came the massive h&m hauls and I thought really...
I remember her also saying she never got skin care but she always had decent stuff. She then went on to say she bought a ton of it when she used to do big shopping hauls but over recent weeks, there she is buying a ton of stuff most cant afford at the current moment.
She comes across as a very angry person to me and she was always eye fucking herself on camera. She gained tons of followers by using the line "we are cash buying". Then changed her tune.

I personally do hope she gets on the property ladder. I think she is quite a troubled person. Maybe having her own home will help her.

Nooooo has she ranted? Gutted I’m still blocked oh ffs Hi Abby (above) fertility problems now. That’s the next thing. No you decorated the room and paid for everything pre-trying so that you didn’t have that extra expense when the baby came. You said that publicly. Who reckons she’s going to try and turn into a fertility TTC page next I can’t speak for everyone in the TTC community but I know from my experience and struggles of those TTC around me that you don’t kit out a nursery because you’ll never understand the pain if you have fertility problems to walk into a nursery daily. You just don’t jinx it. Maybe a cute baby grow or an outfit here and there but that’s usually where the line is drawn. Good luck, I hope you get the house. Welcome to the real world. Try not to quit a job when the going gets tough. Get some therapy and if you want to make a living from socials then deal with it. You’re the fanny now, offended are we Abby by peoples opinions who differ from your own, sounds familiar. Also I’d recommend to keep slagging your family and in laws off social media.
