She’s taking questions!!! The urge to say ‘are you just taking the mick out of tattle’ is reaaaaal
This is absolute car crash TV. Putting an offer in on a house they've never viewed, area they are unfamiliar with and have no idea what the local community is like. She's bleeping lost the plot! I did wish them well but now I hope it goes Pete tong to wipe that smug smile off her face. Like how much money is she spending!? The worst example to set, pitching herself as a finance and savings guru. It's beyond belief now. I genuinely thinks she's having a grandiose, manic episode.

I didn’t mention tattle but asked several questions - none got a response!
She keeps going on and on about the town she lives in having no jobs. She's really failing to realise the reason is because she has no qualifications. Why does she think the grass is going to be greener 15/30/60 miles in another direction? A quick look on Indeed at jobs in Lanarkshire and you're looking at care work/aldi and the like. The problem is Abby not the location.
If I wanted to work where I live (the outskirts of a major city) then yes the jobs available would be your standard I’m guessing minimum wage jobs: cafes, Sainsbury’s, nursery’s, care homes, small shops, waitressing etc….nothing wrong with these jobs, however like every other normal person I know we all commute into the city for work (still actually working from home 50/50 = winning) and earn good money! Me and my husband left school him with only GCSEs and me Alevels yet have worked our bums off, furthered our education, commute further than a 10 min walk away from home and earn well in the 6 figures!
Oh and Abbey hun by using our credit card (cleverly) so far in 2022 we have flown business class to the Caribbean, the US and Portugal, stayed in 5* accommodation ate in beautiful restaurants and still spent less than the 10k spent on your Benidorm trips
points mean prizes aka free flights and free upgrades!
Oh and we have a baby, 2 dogs, 2 cars, house owners, 4 credit cards, topped up pensions (I’m sure Miss Abbey would disapprove of this) yearly maxed out ISAS and over paid mortgage payments, debt free all without cheap council rent or money from Mummy and Daddy. We are normal working class family kids who have a vision for our future, haven’t made excuses and don’t waste money on coffee machines, weird designer sunglasses or skin care but pay up to live in a nice area where our house made 150k within 18 months of us living there doing zero work to it!!!! She’s actually thick as, I’ve tried to offer her advise so many times and just got blocked. I can’t wait for her tit house to fall to pieces!

Can I ask what credit card you find best for rewards etc? I've been thinking about using a cc for my food shop etc in the hope of earning rewards/cash back. (Will pay off in full obviously). Any hints/tips with this? We use Amex which needs to be cleared monthly so isn’t ideal for everyone but when they have deals on we recommend each other/friends/family/colleagues and change cards depending on the current deals to gain extra points. We both only spend on credit card for the extra protection especially for booking holidays and online shopping. And like I say the card has to be cleared at the end of the month so if we can’t afford it we don’t get it.
We then both also have a different credit card, me personally with Barclays my husband I think is currently with NatWest but again we look for the best deals and we use this as a back up card for the shops that do not accept Amex OR this would be a ‘use Incase of emergency card’ which is sometimes needed especially when you own a property and surprises pop up! Abby, when your boiler decides to pack it in in the middle of winter having a 0% credit card isn’t a bad thing.
